Worst company ever !!!! Stay away far away !! They do not respond to customers after the install, My number must be blocked by them
Because when I call it says the number is not reachable from my phone!! Everything is alway an issue and they say it fall on the customer to fix or report to the manufacturer. How is that a 25yr warranty on your install ? I lost my monitoring after the cell service they use was cancelled ! They refused to fix it says I have to pay to get the new monitoring system installed. A whopping $400+ install with an outside vendor. Would y even send a vendor to hard wire it ! Says I need to pay for that too ? Monitoring was included in my original quote!!! I can monitor it can’t tell if it’s working nothing !! My next step is law suit to get back my money and get a real company to install and monitor my solar system because no one will touch it due to it was installed by them!!

We successfully had our system installed back in 2016 and things went well. However, this summer our system stopped working and getting any response from YSG solar was impossible. They did not answer the phone. Did not return calls from many voicemails and only responded after many weeks when we filed a BBB report. The email they sent via the BBB was to suggest we call them (they don't answer phones or return calls). We gave up and found another local company to file the warranty claim on our behalf. I would avoid YSG at all costs. Unclear how they are even still in business?

YSG did a stellar job on my solar project. A neighbor of ours had a system installed by them and we were curious so we called them up. Our salesperson was very non pushy, informative and to the point. 6 months later and our bill is 1/4 of what it was before having solar installed. Just finished claiming our last solar tax credits and couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend.

I'm not even sure if YSG is a real company or just a front.
They installed the solar panels on my roof, for the previous owner.

over the years I have tried to call them a few times for questions or maintenance and no one really answered or sometimes they did but never followed up. But recently I have a small leak in my roof, now the company that installed the panels usually offers a 25 year warranty that if the panels need to be lifted off to fix the roof they do so. For 2 weeks I have called/ emailed/ texted YSG with no response. It just goes straight to voicemail. Does this company even exist?

YSG Solar hired my company to survey a large property for them. I completed all work and was never paid. I have been chasing them down for over a year to get paid and they have been dodging me every step of the way and even evading the debt collectors I hired. I have never experienced a worse client or company. Stay far away from this company!

My Tesla is now being charged from the sun! thank you YSG Solar. In September we started searching for a solar panel company. My neighbor used another company that we met previously who came to our home to provide us an estimate. We started the process and after months nothing occurred, my husband ended up cancelling. We called YSG and within one day of calling we received the estimate. From the day the paperwork was signed until the panel system had been installed was just weeks. This was a big relief. It was not an easy decision for us to go electric with our car. YSG even installed our Tesla charger, they delivered on all of their promises and are a true professional company. There is nothing better than getting a $20 power bill.

Note that YSG and Alpha Solar Group appear to be the same company! We hired YSG to put on solar panels. The process was completely opaque but eventually it got done, and a completely different team was involved in each step, which is fine if the teams had been communicating among themselves, which they were not. Our quote said we should expect 103% of our electric costs to be made back in the first year, but it was nowhere near that. I have called and emailed with Chelsea, Ray, and Ken, but I've gotten no straight answer (and mostly no response at all) about the discrepancy in how much the system would produce. All I want to know is what we could have done better to increase the production! My husband and I suspect the team installed on the wrong side of the roof, and they are ashamed to admit it?...We had planned to purchase a solar battery from YSG but now we will definitely not do so -- and we discourage other customers from trusting this company. Look up Alpha Solar Group reviews for similar experiences as ours.
