Do NOT rent here. There’s always cops in this place due to high crime. I’m talking shootouts, assaults, damage to people’s property, and the complex managers not caring about anything other than taking people’s money. We live in the neighborhood behind this apartment complex and are constantly seeing police frequent the place.

We have had people from the apartments break multiple windows on our house from throwing the apartments rocks. Some of our neighbors have been targeted as well, but thankfully haven’t had their windows broken. There’s cameras posted up in the complex, but when we asked the property manager, Candace, to check the footage to let us know who is targeting our and our neighbors houses, she conveniently states that the cameras are “not working” in our particular area. We’ve upgraded our cameras so hoping to catch the person or people next time something happens.

I’d also like to add that they seem highly irresponsible. When my husband initially went to the management office to let them know what’s happening, the whole interaction was very rude and they seemed to not care about what their residents are doing. The office doors were unlocked and the sign they had hanging up said they were open. My husband walked in to see the lights were off and no one was to be seen in the immediate area. He started calling out to get someone’s attention. Soon after the alarm started going off and a woman named Dulce came out of the office and immediately started accusing my husband of breaking in and setting off the alarm. My husband explained that they did not have their doors locked, and the sign even said they were open. Dulce then got on the phone to call who I’m guessing was management, to say that someone forgot to lock the door and get the code to stop the alarm. She was very rude and snappy to my husband because of their own incompetence.

I would definitely NOT recommend even contemplating living here unless you’re comfortable with frequent crime and with a complex that doesn’t care about the residents or surrounding communities safety

I have had 2 encounters with this person named Dulce, she is a very rude and a sarcastic person.She seems to be botherd if you call and ask a simple question. That's why sometimes I don't like to call cause I don't want to get her on the phone.So sad.

I have lived in these apartments a little over two years now and can honestly say this is one of the nicest places I’ve lived. Management is always helpful and make sure any of my needs or issues are addressed and addressed in a timely manner. The management team, Christina, Sharee, and Candace have always been polite and very helpful. I read a lot of the comments here and see how many are bashing these women for being rude, Ive never had that even when I have given them attitude because of having a bad day! My maintenance issues are addressed and if they aren’t done in the way I’ve asked them to be done these ladies will make sure it’s done correctly. We have had some instances where individuals who do not live on our premises have caused some issues but that was always taken care of as well(thats going to happen anywhere you live). Our pools sometimes get closed , due to parents allowing their children to be unsupervised and tear up things that have to be fixed(so you can’t blame management for that)never heard of cars or apartments being broken into or anything else for that matter. The community is nice, (some individuals need to appreciate their home and community and pick up after themselves ) but other than that I have no complaints. I would give 10 stars and highly recommend this community if you are looking for a place to live. Great Job ladies of WillowBend Management team.

Current resident here DO NOT LIVE HERE our apartment smelled musty when we first ever moved in, the carpets weren’t clean, the windows sills had trash and dust on them, our microwave was broken and had to wait days to get a new one, our dryer was broken had to run the cycle multiple times so they could get dry and it took them three times for over a month before they finally fixed it. There are bugs! We have found silver fish, roach eggs and roaches! And when pest control came they pulled out our stove and scratched our floors and they didn’t even spray because they said it was dirty but I made sure to pull them out the night before and clean them. When I went to the property manager candace she gave me attitude as soon as I walked through the door, I showed her pictures and she did not care she didn’t even write down a report! (Keeping the pictures with dates so they don’t try to charge me for it when I move out) And I told her we were concerned for our safety because there has been shootings at the complex and our gate has been braking all the time now and all we were told was that “the shooter didn’t live in the complex, and they have patrol and that “they can’t help that there’s crime in the world” with attitude, and we have never seen a patrol car once. Also the other office girls are very rude! I went to go get parking stickers and the girl at the front desk gave me attitude because I had to pull up my fiancé’s number because I didn’t already have it memorized. And nothing ever gets fixed on time we are always told they will fix it in the morning and they don’t come bye till mid afternoon. Our air conditioning went out in the middle or the night and there was a very loud buzzing coming from the air conditioning so we couldn’t get hardly any sleep. Couldn’t even open up the windows for fresh air because of the buzzing. When we emailed the property manager for a comp because we had to plug in fans and run our ceiling fans so we were using a lot of energy all we were told was they couldn’t give us a comp because they technically fixed it within 24 hours. I can’t wait till my lease is up. This place is a nightmare do night live here!!!!!

Not sure where they are able to find office staff with the worst attitudes. They're very rude and give out inaccurate information. I've only had good communication with Sharee. Also I can't even count how many times I've seen/heard a bunch of cops outside my window due to shootings and gate damage from cars driving into the gates. Neighbors smoking weed in their units and the smell would seep into my apt through the air vents and the office wouldn't do anything about it except send a generic email to all residents. Oh, and they make YOU hire professional cleaners at move-out to clean your apartment and make you show them receipts or else they will charge you $300+.

MS.SHAREE is the nicest ever!! She’s the only one I prefer to talk to. She’s very communicative and solves your problems with no attitude as if you’re bothering them. I’ve been staying here for about 3/4 years and she’s been great over the years.

A close friend of mine lives at Willowbend and loves it. I visited several times and the apartments and grounds are well maintained and beautiful. I decided to tour and although they were very busy when I arrived, the manager, Candace made a point to not only speak with me but provide a tour and all the information I needed. I am now living here and love it. Leasing staff is friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend living at Willowbend!
