pretty typical westrock, not very impressive as usual. luckily i was only here for a drop and hook so it wasn't too painful. i parked in the muddy dirt lot and walked up to the guardshack with paperwork then was told to get on the scale. the lady wasn't rude but she said 100 things way too fast and seemed like she just wanted me to keep it moving. lot with trailers is a mess, trailers dropped anywhere and everywhere which is pretty standard for westrock.

I have been to this plant 2 times now. Each time, I had an early morning delivery. I was in and out within 1 hour for both deliveries. I think this place is great, based on those 2 deliveries. I'm not sure why everyone rates this place so low and has a major problem with each employee. True, their overnight lot is a little beat up and has some potholes... JUST GO SLOW AND YOU WILL BE FINE!
It is very nice that any shipper or receiver offer's us free parking at their facilities these days. Just be nice to them, and they will be nice to you.

The place was easy to get in and out of, spacious and without major complications in terms of infrastructure, with the only issue being that the yard for parking trailers is unpaved and quite dusty. The people at the gate were distracted, playing with their phones, and when they attend to you, they do so with an unfriendly attitude. Time of visit: 5:20 PM.

If you have to deliver or pick up make sure you are and hour to two hours early because they take their time here. App. was at 11 arrived at 10 am waited in line an hr to check in then got out to the dock immediately but sat. at dock from 11 to 1pm when they finished unloading us. Other then that no bathroom porta John's terrible. Good luck driver

If you're not a regular to this facility, do not hit the scale first! Regardless if you're on time for your appointment! Pull on the dirt pad. Park and walk up to the scale house. Check in and wait for instructions. Does not apply to d/h drivers.

Hit scale 11:30 for 12pm appt.
Told the rules and come back @ 1230.
Empty @ 1446

I've had a great experience every time I have come. The quickest unloading and great attitude. Mr. Jamie Horn, the forklift driver is awesome. He deserves some recognition. Thank you, sir.

Valentines DAY might not be a good day to deliver load here. Got here, waited on the road, slide my tandems then 15mins before my apt I pulled to scale just to be told to go in, turn around, park, and come in with paperwork. I did, no issues since I know the rules but the dozens of times I have been here before is not an issue 15mins or so before apt. Once I parked, when inside the guard house, I gave her the paperwork just to be told I can get back on the scale. <<< Yes, you read that right<<< mind you, nobody else behind me when it happened. I know those are the rules but there are other ways to instruct drivers to do things, not like she did but anyways, must be Valentines Day bug where she got nothing. Mind you, drivers before me from different companies pull up to the empty scale and when thru with not turning around, so why me? Perhaps my PR necklace remind her of a broken heart or bad experience with a Rican jajaja

18 trucks trying to get in to use scales. Many are waiting on the road. 2 are trying to leave (also needing to use scales). Place is a joke. Multiple people in the security check-in building, just 1 trying to get things done and move traffic. Why only have 2 scales? 1 for traffic in and 1 for traffic out.
