I don't even know where to begin... I have lived at my address basically my whole life. I used to travel a lot for work between my early 20s and 30s. Until my family started needing help taking care of my grandmother. So I came home. Nothing but practical mortal h*** since.... And this water company has not helped very much at all.
We are told that we are the first ones to get water as it comes off Sand mountain... We have had a lot of air come through and bust our lines my father and I have had to repair them many times for my grandmother and for our own place over the years. We've also had mud come through in the water before. It ruined two of my grandmother's hot water heaters, and the ice maker on her refrigerator.
She even had a plumbing service come out one time and he took a 5 gallon bucket and took the water line that went to the refrigerator and drained the mud out of it and it literally nearly filled one quarter of it full completely of mud. She called this water company, and was able to prove it to them. The response was that "they could not afford" to replace all the equipment and everything that had been ruined because of the issues with air and muddy water. They told her that they would just have to give it to her in water. So they took a little bit off of her bill every month for a few months...
Here we are now, again...., having issues with the bill going up and down. I have looked around for leaks, haven't really seen any. But I was told that they can read your meter from up to a "half mile away," since I have security cameras and know that no one ever comes to check or read our meter.... This water company really should be investigated by the state or by some higher authority. Or at least do like some other water districts around the area that will call or email you if they detect a potential leak from your meter...
They love it when you have leaks because they make more money if you do...

Not sure why the site offers auto pay when clearly it's faulty. We use this service because we travel for work. Set it it the bill came out once. Had someone go check on the house and now the water has been cut off! And it's our responsibility to pay all late fees and charges! Why offer this service?!?!

Let me tell you my story ?. When I first moved into my house in 2022, my water ? meter was some 27 feet from the road. I wanted to put up a fence which meant the water meter needed to be moved up ⬆️ so it wouldn’t be inside the fence.
I called, explained my situation, and they were so kind. Came out the next day, moved my meter, and even did the extreme kindness of repairing my side of the meter!!
Now, I am not upset by it because they didn’t have to do it to begin with and it held for over a year. But their repair had busted. I didn’t know that, and I spent 3 months searching for a leak ?. I even went to the point of installing multiple shutoff valves at key points on my land to try to isolate where the leak was. (I just put a shut off valve on the house plumbing ?, the back yard plumbing ? , and the front yard.
I could not find the leak but my meter was still running. Before I decided to dig up my extremely hard front yard, I asked them to come out and just check my meter to make sure it wasn’t bad, since it was relocated a year ago and I don’t know ♂️ how they work, but it was spinning in a weird manner. It would spin real fast ?, then slow down and stop ✋. Then spin real fast again and slow down again.
They apparently came out, hooked up ⬆️ to the meter electronically and noted that it showed a leak alarm ?. Well, no duh. I asked you guys to check if it was the meter.
Now, the worst part is, no one told me they even came out. So when I called and asked, they told me that I was just supposed to call back the next day. Well that makes sense, except HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY CAME OUT!!!! No call, no knock ✊ on the door ?. So I asked them a second time to come out, and whatever the man’s name was insisted that it was a leak on my side.
Okay dude. That’s fine, but at least come out and check it for me. I pay for the utility, please don’t screw me because you don’t want to come out.
And he never ? gave me his name. Also, answers the phone ? very rudely. Long story short I lost ? my cool ? while fighting with him to just send someone out. I used my sentence enhancers I learned in the military and they hung up immediately ?. Cool, now I’m even more mad ? because I got hung up on. So I call back and don’t realize that my enhancers are the reason I’m getting hung up on. So I get hung up on two more times before I realize ?. I wasn’t cussing ? them, just using them as enhancers. Not an excuse, but oh well ♂️.
Now, the leak was on my side. That’s fine, and I’m okay admitting I’m wrong ?. But lord have mercy, don’t argue with your customers.

Please update your office hours!!!! It says they open at 7:30 to which they do not. I have to be at work @ 8am. Tried coming to pay my bill b4 my shift & the doors are locked and the ladies inside are just standing inside shrugging their shoulders & throwing their hands up. Quite rude if u ask me.
On top of that not a single one of these ladies are very pleasant. All seem as tho they would rather be anywhere but here & ur whole existence is a bother to them. Not to mention discrepancy in water bills that seem to go up for no apparent reason.
Honestly this is the worst water company I've ever had the displeasure of having to use.

I have never had issues w this water company. They have always been very nice n helpful everytime I go to pay my bill, call inquiring about my bill, n to getting my water turned on back in spring 2021! I don't know why some of yall other people have negative things to say about them. They even have it where you can pay over the phone now. They have it on your monthly bill about how to go about it. So God Bless everyone who is reading this ?

Every time I call up here NONE is nice. Like you cant even say have a great day? Or anything the customer service is really a NIGHTMARE! You CANT pay with a debit or credit card.. its 2022! Please update your systems! And please teach your staff to smile while on the phone and at least put on a show like they want to help you and not like your phone call is a HUGE bother to them! I have been in Fyffe for about 2 years and I can honestly say i have not had 1 pleasant experience with the staffing or with them in general. Sorry to be hasty but...... I really HATE calling someone for help and I can hear it in your tone that your VERY annoyed! that is annoying and plane RUDE.

First off, when I went in to get water turned on, they were rude and unpleasant. Secondly, I haven't had a water bill under $40. I see no leaks anywhere but every month it's over $40. They know that they are the only choice and they use that to do whatever they want.

Took them three months to come look at the leaking water meter to try to tell me it's on our end will be getting a plumber to come look at it because I think ole dude just saw it was about to be 5pm and wasn't his problem....
