Waited 14 hours for a tech that didn’t show. That was after two call confirming the appointment prior to the svc day and two calls with Washington Gas assuring me that they would keep the appt. My meter is connected to corroded pipes and is falling apart, but WG could not care less

I wish I could put negative "stars". My gas was shut down for work that they told me was needed on Thursday. It is now Saturday and the gas has yet to be restored even though they told me it would be done that day. Yesterday I was forced to miss work to wait for the tech that never came. Today I'll miss my sisters wedding out of town, and deposit on hotel rooms. All this is nothing compared to the fact we haven't been able to clean ourselves-except with cold water, make formula for the baby, cook, do laundry, etc. The customer service line is outsourced and they don't care.

Have missed work 2 days for a tech that never came. My gas has been shut off for 4 days now, bill paid in full. Not sure how long this will go. Unethical.

My account was enrolled in auto-pay but after moving and transferring my account to a new address, the tech never re-enrolled me in auto-pay. For a year, I received no letters, emails, calls or any form of notification about outstanding bills on my account until I finally got a discontinuance notice with a huge balance with late fees. Contacting a representative or logging into the portal is difficult, regardless they refused to waive the late-fees.

I have been calling Washington gas for months to start service,I ma penalized because the former tenant wasn't not paying bills And I have sent them my lease,but every time you talk to them they tell you different story, I don't know why is so hard..Is because is only gas supplier I guess? What is alternative to another gas company?

They scheduled an appointment with me for today between 7am to 5 pm and they asked me to stay home (10hours!!!)
I called them at 4.30 pm and they said the technician on his way. I called them again at 5.15 because no one showed and they said that he will be there by 8 pm. Now is 6.30 and I’m pretty sure no one will show. I have little kids without hot water, heating and without gas for cooking from last Friday.

Extremely disrespectful service. I waited at home for two full days without any time of arrival or a call. They promised to come on the first day but didn't show up, then said they'd come before 10 pm but still didn't. The next day, no arrival time was provided either. I lost two workdays waiting for no one.

Worst company!! Scheduled to have them come out to turn gas back on. Claimed they called and knocked on door yet no missed calls or knocks all day. Then proceeded to tell me they won’t send anyone else out until Monday (it’s Friday) I have a toddler and now have no hot water through the weekend. Then claim they have to follow procedure and turning gas back on is not an emergency.
