I needed to quickly replace the hot water in the garage of my daughter s townhouse. I got 2 bids off angis list and a bid from Washington Energy. The Washington Energy bid was less than half of the highest bid. I talked with Joshua to understand their bid and was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. They were able to come out that same day and did a great job. I'm an engineer and I was very happy with their work . I've used them in my home and always was pleased . This is a long overdue praise for Washington Energy Services (WES) customer service, integrity, pricing and workmanship. I first hired them in 1999 to install vinyl windows throughout my house, which are still in perfect condition. Incidentally, I called them 20 years later to ask where I could find a replacement lock that had broken, and they responded quickly, coming out to repair it for a nominal charge.
In late, 2020, I needed to replace my hot water tank, and they sent out the very knowledgeable Christy, who showed me various options. She answered my many questions and I settled on a heater with a booster that best fit my needs.
In December, 2023 my gas furnace gave out so I purchased a new one through WES. I had a minor issue with the fan several months later, and they returned to rectify the situation. Over the past several months, I've had excessively high gas bills and when I called WES, they sent out manager, Greg (and a team in-training) to troubleshoot the issue. When I again had a high bill two months later, Greg returned with his team and stated the culprit was the outdated thermostat (which they had not initially installed). WES installed a new thermostat free of charge, stating it was the right thing to do. To say I was pleased is an understatement, and am very appreciative for going over and above, something I find rare in today's business world.
WES has consistently delivered excellent service and superior products. They also offer rebates for energy efficient products. I particularly like that they are family owned and have been in business since 1957. Their employees are experienced & personable, and appear to be in for the long haul, which speaks volumes of their management/owners. I will not go anywhere else for the services that they offer, and am grateful for their outstanding customer service over the past 25 years.

Just wanted to give Steven and George a shoutout and huge thanks for completing some electric work at my residence. As a person that generally does not provide reviews, Steven and George's professionalism, courtesy and respect can't go unnoticed and I felt compelled to express my deepest gratitude and thanks. They were very skilled and I do appreciate the efficiency and manner in which they completed the job, cleaned the area better than I had it for them and explained all that was done to a person unfamiliar with the trades in a way I felt comfortable with. I look forward to using WES for all my electrical needs. Great job guys! Keep up the great work!

Washington Energy Services recently sourced and installed storm doors for our back doors that get battered with wind and rain. From initial consultation through installation, working with Washington Energy Services was a great experience. Great communication, and great craft. Most importantly, they stand behind their work. When we had a super minor issue, they fixed it right away. Recommended.

Washington Energy went out of their way to first do an initial install then made no cost capacity upgrade when they identified a greater need 2 months later at no charge. Greg Hinton the manager came out on a Saturday to confirm the changes needed himself in person. Everything now working even better than hoped. Thank you.

We're very happy with WES as a whole. Love the windows 🪟 The communication with the office personnel was great 👍 punctuality great. A couple of things I feel should be brought up to potential future customers. My sales rep told me he would be involved every step of the way throughout the project. From the final measurement appointment to the final inspection after the last window was installed. Neither of those happened. He also said that if we had any questions through the process of the project to call him specifically no matter what. Everything sounded great. The price was the lowest out of 3 bids. We put half down up front. That was the last I heard from our sales rep. I reached out 3 times raido silence. Until the second day of the installation when we found out that some of the material (from previous installation from unknown personnel) was bad or wrong. I then got a very informal email stating what the cost would be.
The second thing I would like to point out about our installation process with WES was one of there installers (nice enough guy) was unprofessional (language and such talk) I get it you working and but this is our home, my wife and I were both present. He also was making insulting comments about the condition of the old windows and the material used. Again, I get it. "That's why we're having them replaced.
So there you have it, that's my review of WES. Overall, we would totally recommend them

WES installed new windows throughout my home. The proceeds initially was smooth. I felt like the sales rep listened and knew exactly what I was looking for.

When it came to installing the windows I was extremely disappointed and the resolution offered costed me more money out of pocket. When asked if a rendering of the custom windows could be provided I was told no- so I relied on conversations and pictures sent to WES to confirm the style and pattern of grids I was looking for.

When the windows were installed they were all wrong. The windows that were meant to have higher low e coating were in the wrong area of the house- resulting in the windows of the front of my house having dark tint when they were to be installed in the back of the house. The pattern of the grids were wrong and every window installed had scuffs, scratches and were missing pieces.

WES solution was for me to pay to fix only some of the problems and left me with scratched windows and a bottle of touch up paint. The sales rep who originally was helpful was extremely rude and dishonest.

Technician arrived on time. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Although battery tested fine he conducted further investigation and found blown fuse indicating battery definitely needed replacement. I was very pleased with the service provided as I always have been in my 15+ years experience with WES.
