This is the worst power company I've ever done business with. It 8:15 on April 16th 2024 and our power has went off for absolutely no reason, the wind isn't blowing and it's not raining or storming outside. This happens alot. The power just goes off for no reason. Maybe Washington EMC should think about closing down and letting Georgia Power take over. We never had this problem with Georgia Power. Washington EMC Sucks.

The problem I have is when they put new poles or lines up they leave your place a mess. Instead of using crane mats they just leave your property with ruts all over. Try mowing after that. And now they came through skid steer and a boom cutter and really messed things up on my place. I keep my property clean and mowed. When you come south into town there is a 700 foot ditch mowed and clean. I spoke to the guy who was over seeing the job. And he was a jerk about it. Very Very unhappy.

My power has been turning on and off. I counted 4x before noon and now it's been twice within 5 minutes. They call it routine maintenance but it's really just unreliable service. At least 3 days out of the week I come home to things beeping because the power has gone out while I'm at work. Do not rely on this service if you plan to work from home. Just go into the office.

Terrible first experience my power still not on. The house passed inspection last week and all I been hearing is excuses on why they can't get power on in timely manner. I will not buy house in Washington EMC area again. Power still not on. They are the worst electric company I have ever dealt with. They promise to get my power on Thursday and now they are making more excuses. Veterans don't buy a house in a emc area. Georgia power is better.

Wonderful group of people who service my family very well!! Anytime the power goes out, the dispatcher and lineman are quick to resolve! They did an outstanding job when hurricane Irma hit are area fall 2017. Also the billing department is always willing to work with their customers.

Late paying once in 30 years and they cut us of Off. Georgia power would not have done that. We should be able to choose our light company.
