During the recent ice/snow storm, we lost wifi access. I called to report an outage, and the lady was very adamant that there was no outage in my area and that obviously my router or other equipment was the problem. I told her that two of my neighbors were also without internet, but she bulldozed over that bit of information. She insisted a technician needed to come "repair" my equipment. I was very frustrated by her lack of concern and help. About an hour later, I received a power outage text from Vyve. Oh really? Duh!

Upon calling Vyve for help on my internet connection, my questions concerning the disruption of service were answered and the solution was provided along with a through explanation of why my service was disrupted.
I spoke with a very professional lady named Mickie. After the Vyve Representative Mickie resolved the problem I made the following statement. It is because of the professional, thoughtful and pleasant attitude of the Vyve Representatives like Mickie that I have been and will remain an extremely satisfied customer of Vyve.

Future customers beware
Since Hurricane Helene we have seen a laggard response in the restoration of services. I was told my bill would be adjusted for time of services lost. I was not. When you can get a technician, the work is subpar. They just cut the wires and drop them at the power pole and distribute refuse everywhere. If you have issues, I highly recommend you file formal complaints with the FCC and SEC. My last review was deleted by Google so hopefully this serves to help someone.

This company participates in questionable practices. Adding additional fees for no justifiable reason. Several years ago, they started charging for a paper bill to be mailed to you. Went digital on that, they forgot to send me a bill and charged me a late fee over it. Apparently, no one in their company know when these emails get sent out. Which is untrue due to record keeping practices they are required by law to maintain. Published in this November bill is a $5 fee for not using auto pay. I don’t subscribe to the idea that a company can have free reign once you give them permission for an EFT. Read the terms and conditions.

My husband and I live in an area that, UNFORTUNATELY, is not serviced by Bulloch Solutions, leaving us no choice but to use Vyve for internet. Our experience with Vyve has been absolutely terrible. The internet consistently drops, making it impossible to rely on for anything important. We’ve even gone as far as having a brand-new Ethernet wire run through our yard in an attempt to fix the issues, but nothing has improved.

To make matters worse, we can’t even stream live events without constant buffering or interruptions. It’s beyond frustrating to pay for a service that fails so often.

We recently sold our house and are moving, and one of the things we’re MOST excited about is finally being free from Vyve. If you have any other option for internet service, I strongly urge you to take it. Vyve has been the worst internet provider we’ve ever dealt with.

Had Vyve Broadband for 5 years and was unhappy throughout my of my time with them. The service was very inconsistent in terms of speeds and customer service was ZERO help. Paying for gigabit internet I expect speeds of 900+ Mbps downloads and multiple times Vyve could not understand why I was getting 300-450 about half the time. Most people you would get on the phone with just said "have you tried turning your modem off an on? Oh, that didnt work? Guess you'll have to take a day of work to meet a service tech." They would give you a window of time the techs would be there and were almost ALWAYS late by an hour or more. Now with the hurricane knocking out internet and power, they expect me to pay a $144 passed due bill - I did not have internet for 3.5 weeks during that month and all I get told is "you'll get a credit for it whenever upper management says so. Dont really know when that will be." Cancelling Vyve as soon as this billing cycle is up.

This company is horrible with communication. We depend on their service (or, soon it will be “used to”) for our livelihood working from home and the lack of communication post Helene is ridiculous. There is no clarity, no one to actually talk to, the chat script is infuriating. They have no problem pulling money from my account but can’t even tell me where my service is in the queue to be restored. Absolute insanity.

If you need WiFi during the best of times, these guys are fine. If you need them in the worst of times, don’t waste your time. They won’t waste theirs giving you any kind of customer service.
