I have been burning wood pellets for the past 12 years purchased mostly from the big box stores. I tried a few bags of Vermont to see how they compared to the pellets that I've used in the past and was pleasantly surprised to find they burn hotter with much less ash. These are by far the best pellets for my gravity feed stove. Between the hot burning softwood content, consistency of content and short pellet length my stove has been burning great this year. When I have used blended pellets the stove required constant fussing, and longer pellets get hung up in the feed chute causing it to go out.

Very good pellet with some quality control issues. Every winter we buy this brand 4-5 ton per winter. Every pallet of the product has some moisture filled bags which are unusable (they turn into loose saw dust). Once I've discovered a small bolt in the bag - I wish they would have better quality control!

Only pellets I use. I've tried a few others, but the vermont wood pellets in my view burn the best. Very low ash and won't turn your stove all black. Clean burn.

Best pellets I’ve ever burned. I also work for a retailer that carries these, I’ve delivered them as far as a 1–1/2 away to people that won’t burn anything but these. We have been back ordered like crazy there that good.
