We considered going solar for several years but never took the steps to initiate until we met with Taylor. He took the time to explain the benefits of solar energy and how our family could benefit. No high pressure sales tactics; just facts and honesty. Jose and team installed our panels in one day without any mess or interruptions to our normal day. Jose and Taylor have patiently answered our questions; always making sure we were in the know of next steps. Now that our panels are installed we are waiting for final inspections so we can flip the switch. The entire process has been seamless. We highly recommend working with this company. I couldn’t get pics of all three sets of panels but love the way they blend in with the roof and view from the street.

The installer arrived at my house and promptly began the installation work. Once they finished, they showed me the completed job and demonstrated how to turn the panels on/off. We had a great experience with everyone at Virginia Energy! Taylor and Carter gave us so much helpful information when we did our consultation! They were very professional and also just really down to earth guys! We had our panels installed within two months and our install only took 3 hours!!! They install guys were super nice and efficient. Gracie also has been really helpful and professional! Overall this was the greatest and easiest experience purchasing something big with a company. We’re excited to use our panels once our power company does our inspection and i was only able to take one picture of the install because our house is on a hill but it blends in so well with the roof!

We recently purchased solar panels from Virginia Energy Solutions, and we're pleased with our decision. Being a local company made us feel more confident in our choice, even though they weren’t the cheapest option.

Our experience with Ryan was exceptional. He was always available to answer our questions, no matter how small, and even came out multiple times to review the product with us. His dedication to ensuring we were comfortable and informed throughout the process was a major plus.

However, we did encounter an issue during the installation phase. Despite the installer coming out to measure before finalizing the plan, on the day of installation, it was discovered that the panels wouldn't fit as initially planned. This led to a last-minute adjustment, requiring the panels to be re-positioned.

Unfortunately, this change caused a significant decrease in the estimated production, which was disappointing.

While there was a hiccup with the installation, the overall experience with Virginia Energy Solutions was positive. We would recommend them, particularly for those who are looking for a local company with their own employees as opposed to a lot of these groups that are sub contracting everything and everyone out.

Overall I was pleased with the service. They delivered as promised and meet expectations. They beat the schedule they gave me. The only improvement would be to have one person that the customer could communicate with throughout the process. Depending on what was the issue, there were several people that I was supposed to contact. I was never sure who was the correct person. I was left wondering what the status was more than I was comfortable with.

Ian, the owner, wasn’t pushy with selling it, which was refreshing for a change, and explained every step of the process up front. The installation went very smoothly. Virginia Energy Solutions installed my panels, this seemed like a no brainer deal with the rates of electric power costs have risen drastic, and still continue to rise. The installers were prompt on arrival, and their work was very prompt and efficient. I was very pleased with them and surprised in the amount of time it took to install my panels. My salesman Taylor was very informative, educated in the system and put together a design that will do us very well going forward. Not to mention Gracie working hard behind the scenes, keeping me informed and helping out with any concerns or questions i have. Ill recommend them to everyone i know or meet.

Definitely had a great experience workings with Ian on my Solar project. Was totally clueless on the product and process and took my time to research and understand it. Ian at Virginia Energy Solutions wasn’t pushy, always available to answer my questions via phone, text, et al….as late as 11 at night responding! Super excited to see where things go from here. Was concerned about appearance and wanted to make sure the esthetics of the install were there also. The design flowed well with the house contours and didn’t disappoint.
