Shame on you coming to my door saying “net meter” while knocking on my door asking to let you read our meter pretending to be a state worker and not a solar salesperson. This kid came to our door with lies wasting my time. I specifically asked before letting him in my backyard if he was with solar and he said no. He really wasted my time. I had to put all my dogs away and wasted time from my work at home. SHAME ON YOU!!!

The worst customer service I never had with noah turley. Nearly five months after a contract was signed i still don't have service from solar panels. Getting any information is like pulling teeth.. if I had paid a few extra bucks and gone with another company, I would have actually saved money by now. In most cases, you get what you pay for like.You don't even get that with these guys.

Excellent experience with California Renewable Energy. Blake was our representative and was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable at all steps of the process. We signed up for a Power Purchase Agreement and he got us a great low rate for electricity. Looking forward to start saving money at no cost to us. Solar panels are installed and look great. We're just waiting for PG&E to wrap things up and we'll be in business.

Geeee, where do I begin Working with this company has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Door to door salesman signs me up for a second solar system on my roof to eliminate my yearly true-up bill. All was good until they installed my solar panels. 9 panels on my roof, but never hooked up to any electrical. I kept asking them when they were going to finish, but they would say they were waiting on my power company to give permission to operate. I kept telling them my system wasn't hooked up to anything, just panels on my roof. Sent photos, then they realized someone checked the wrong box on a form. So 3 months after the panels went up they came out and installed the rest of the system. They used a contractor called "Kane Bros" and/or "Eleanor Electric". Same company. This is where things got jacked. I purchased the system in February 2023. It is now June of 2024 and it is still not producing power. Power company says there are deficiencies in my operating permit application. They have emailed the contractor, but they do not respond. I've got hundreds of text messages from people that say they will call me to help get things sorted out, but they NEVER ever call. Rarely do they respond to my texts. They'll say, "I'll call you tomorrow at 4pm", but they never call. And the contractor that they used has an "F" Better Business Bureau rating. I didn't know that in the beginning until I started researching. Why would they hire an "F" rated contractor? God forbid, if my system ever gets turned on, and then there is a problem, I'll never be able to get it fixed on their dime. And I am paying for the solar loan, but I am getting zero benefit from it. I'm probably going to have to hire an attorney, but not sure if that will even help. The contractor is non-responsive and wouldn't even respond to my BBB complaint. US Renewable has a parent company called MPWR in Utah. I have sent messages to both companies probably 20 times each and get no response. So, this is your warning: IF YOU ARE CONTACTED BY EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES, RUN FOR THE HILLS AND AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

This card sure does try to mimic that of a state worker and NOT a solar company. In fact, he didn't say he worked for a solar company at all. The fact you're going door to door to get your services out there is an indicator that it's not legit. A good company's product and reputation sells itself. This Brandon character better not do anything with my bill or personal information. My whole encounter with him was recorded for the record. I spoke to PG&E they have a program very similar verbatim, but it doesn't include the services he claimed. This is fraudulent and cruel to take advantage of people. Calling BBB tomorrow and exposing you to anyone else that'll listen

Justin Jones of California Renewable Energy was walking my neighborhood and asking folks about their PG&E bill. At first I really didn't have time for a sales pitch but he actually made SENSE! He looked at our electricity bill and compared that to the cost of owning a solar system and again passing up his offer would have been disastrous when it comes to paying for the electricity we use. FYI why pay for power that being produced in Utah with a high markup when you can get it right from your roof that really boils down to owning the cow instead of buying the milk, I know no brainer. He really went to bat for our household and found a reputable company to do the work. PG&E's time of usage rates are rising and Justin of California Renewable Energy has got the cure. I highly recommend that you give them a call and if that's not enough just wait until he tells you about a whopping $26,000.00 you can get back in your pocket. That offers is soon to expire so give them a call right away and you can thank me later.

I waited a while to post this review so I could write on the my full experience. First off, I am always skeptical of door-to-door sales but after talking with the gentleman I was quickly put at ease with his knowledge, passion and professionalism. Gavin fully explained the process and answered all of my 500 or so questions. We love the idea of helping the environment and saving some money at the same time. The entire process was easy, and every associate was beyond professional. Great job.
