I think United solar violated the TCPA and called me about a house I have never owned, and already has solar on the roof. After reviewing the reviews on Google, I found a few reviewers that appear to be from other countries. Usually this is done to over inflate a company's rating. I have made a couple of calls to talk to somebody in charge about the penalty for violating the TCPA and haven't gotten a response yet. I've also checked with the California Secretary of State business search and haven't been able to find a record for United solar at the address they have on their website. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it means I haven't found it yet. Once I find it, I'll be filing the claim in small claims court to collect on the TCPA violation. I really wish these companies would just stop bothering people on the do-not call list. It is their job to verify, before they call.

This process has been very frustrating. It felt deceptive from the beginning. Finally the roof was installed and it leaked in several spots. Next months go by and I checked with the city just to learn permits have never been submitted. I’ve checked in half a dozen times and was assured it was on track, but nothing has been done. Summer is gone, solar has not been started and I’m stuck with a very disappointing process.
