I don’t normally do reviews but after speaking to other utility departments and then speaking to this one, I decided I would. I purchased a property that has no utilities yet so I’m getting new service. We had to have a utility pedestal moved for driveway, that company allowed me to do all the dirt work and expose lines so that they could move it at no charge. While doing so there line ran next to the waterline so we have it all dug up and exposed. I call water department to let them know I needed a water meter set and all the dirt work was already done and water line is exposed. While I know it cost money to set a water meter I also know that the excavation side of it is expensive and they still want to charge me full price for only doing half the work which is just under 6k. I called in dig test, excavated the area, exposed all lines, all they have to do is set the meter now. Shouldn’t be charged full price
