It does perform better than the Bd Diesel Stage 2 turbo. When the torque converter lockup. Ease into the throttle it pulls harder then the BD diesel stage 2. The predator GXR-7 stage 2.5 it does have better throttle response. Customer service is awesome.

I gotta say this is one heck of a good company! Easy to work with and surly quick turn around. Had a few questions prior to making my turbo replacement purchase on my 2013 megacab and they are very informative and straight honest answers. I went with stage 2 and it was a direct fit using my billet actuator, works awesome, a little bit louder and pulls way better than that stock turbo ever did. Getting 20mpg on 35’s with 342 gears @75mph. Definitely worth the money and will be using them on our customers as well when in need! Thank you guys!

On two different trucks, 6.7 Cummins we installed the Stg1 turbo. One cause they had turbo issues. The other customer just wanted one after reading about them and going off our recommendation
As always they performed Great.
Its performance you can see, feel and calculate the difference.

Recently purchased the lighting bolt vgt solenoid for my 2005 f250 6.0. I saw it on instagram and found a YouTube video of the benefits and no tuning required. It basically bolts right up, looks very nice as it’s a billet part. I was very impressed that in 5-10 minutes I can drive and feel a big difference in the throttle response. Feels stronger, quick spool up. The truck sounds abit different in a good sounding way. The transmission also feels crisper shifts. I would say that it’s worth every penny. my truck is on a stock tune, cold air intake and 4 inch cat back. I did notice a lot more boost, and I guess my stock computer went to limp mode as I made 26 lbs. I spoke to the guys in the tech dept, and advised me that a tune would correct the issue. Unless I really beat the truck up , no issues with over boosting, I was going around 100 at the time, witch is very rare that I do. I can’t say enough about my experience, great company and the tech support is very surprising to find in other companies. I will get the upgrade turbo soon from turbo time usa.

First thing I will say, is that the customer service is on point. I have been able to directly email the person that suggested going with my purchase from the start.
Second thing I will say, is that the performance of the purchased turbo has been absolutely awesome. Spooling has been almost instant when I have needed it the most. It sounds awesome, and has performed awesome. However, the exhaust brake has given me a few issues since the install. During the warmup phase in the morning when it has been a little chilly, it has struggled to adjust it seems. I am not sure if it's a calibration issue or not. I have given in a week to straighten itself out. Thinking that it might just need to relearn itself. Kind of like a newly installed transmission has to relearn its shift points.
But it has still not corrected itself at this point. As a matter of fact, it has also been kicking the exhaust brake in and out while I am slowing down. This is a problem for me, since I use my truck for Hot shot work. It isn't all the time, but it's still a problem. My factory turbo never did this until the actuator finally went out. Which is why I purchased this new one.
But overall, I have had no issues at all with the HXR Stage 2. And I am also very impressed with the actual performance of it, especially for being a "drop in" replacement.

Great products and customer service! The Lightning Bolt VGT solenoid upgrade made quite an improvement even on the stock 6.0 Garret. Considering turbo upgrades with Turbo Time in the future!

Had some problems with the turbo on my truck luckily I was able to find R&G Racing located in Farmington, NM. They installed a new turbo from Turbo Time USA on my truck. Runs just like new again. Highly recommend both Turbo Time & R&G Racing. Very professional work & parts from both.

My OEM turbo on 2016 Ram 2500 was starting to throw codes around 185k miles and I decided to tackle replacement myself. Not a mechanic but competent with repairs. Settled on a Stage 2 HXR with actuator. Aside from cursing the Ram engineers for the oil return line it was pretty straight forward and she started right up after I put her back together. I’ve got about 800 miles on it and no issues. Customer service was helpful on the front end and the core return went off without a hitch.
