I had a weird smell in my garage so i called Trussville Gas Emergency line at around 9:00pm didn’t get the guy name who answered but he was so nice and helpful. He sent another guy to my house quick. He was professional and he was very helpful. I was so scared that it was gas leaking. The guy assured me that everything was ok. Thank you both for your professionalism and your quick response.

My father passed away, my mother didn't know to have the account changed after his passing. I didn't know this until I had to move in with her, after confirming she has aggressive alzheimers. I call Trussville gas and water to request confirmation of payment. And was told I can't do anything because it's not in her name. What the heck. I can't even call to request for someone to check the gas fireplace. Not happy at all the Deborah woman needs to be gone she isn't a good employee.

You do not receive notification regarding termination of your services due to delinquency. Credit card number changed and forgot about updating Tville GW. Hopefully they will be quick tomorrow to return services but no notification at all? No emails? No paper mail about my payment method no longer working? Frustrating.

Update. The woman I spoke with this morning by the name of Pat, was not helpful. She refused to listen to me explain that I have not received email notification from them for 6 months. And this could have been easily avoided with any form of communication. Incredibly frustrating that this company has monopolized the Trussville area. I hope and pray there is another entity to supply the community of Trussville gas and water utilities in the future.

The automated messaging system that follows up to the reviews is lackluster at best. Please provide sincere care and concern if you would like to swing your terrible CSI report

Nothing but good things to say about Trussville Utilities. We have been customers for 20+ years and have always had a good experience. When we did have a gas leak a few years ago, they were quick to respond and send a service technician who quickly identified and fixed the leak. Their customer service is top notch.

Very rude and unprofessional I really think the lady I think Deborah was her name doesn’t like blacks my water bill was paid before 12 pm they told me between 1-5 I told them I would get off at 1pm and it took me 45 minutes to get home they cut my water on then back off and told me I had to reschedule for the next day after I explained that I was trying to cook for my kids she was very rude and inconsiderate and of course I have to wait and additional day and miss work for my water to be cut on I hate I have to deal with them or just her she’s very rude

Their repair crew and after hour number people have no respect. First of all, they came in my area this week. They don’t even notify of the possible inconvenience. They randomly went to my house and left a sign on my garage door not the front door. Which made no sense since when you open the garage door it just falls and you won’t see the slip if you’re pulling out. How hard is it to leave it on the front door or even ring to door bell to let a paying customer know? They proceeded to turn my gas off no one home at the time knew till after hours. I called the after hours number I was informed he will be there in a minute. I was looking directly at the repair crew the whole time waiting because they required you to be home for them to turn it back on. 20 minute later I called the number back, the rep told me the guy was walking down the the street but no one was walking anywhere I was looking at them the whole time. 10 minute later the guy appeared he told me a excuse about him having to do his work first and he was not informed it was a priority. The whole time three people were just standing there doing nothing while I watched. You telling me one couldn’t walk two min down the street to turn my gas before I waited 30 minutes. Not only did I Iose 30-40 minutes of sleep because of this uncaring company. They were out at 6 am putting cones out. Why not inform your customers then or at least try. If you gave me no previous warning, If call I want my gas back on asap no lies from workers because you want your money every month regardless. Moral of the story Trussville gas is on your block be prepared for an unexpected inconvenience.

Update: This company responded to my review but really is a slip on a door the same day maybe a few hours before when most people are at work really a why to notify why not a email or phone call a few days before? Typical utility company makeup something’s that they were right because you can’t cancel them because they the only company in the area. But let that happen to their family you come home and need to sleep for work and there is no hot water for you or your kids to bathe. The problem is not I want them to do something unsafe but it’s terrible when there is a leak and the company says nothing. There is nothing preventing them from starting emergency repairs and have someone inform customers at the same time. Thanks for fixing the leak but you guys are terrible at informing customers.

So thankful for the service! Recently, we had a water leak due to a tree root. My husband was out of town and a worker came all the way from Odenville to help me figure out a way for us to shower and just get it resolved temporarily. Then we were able to get it fixed, and Trussville Gas and Water listened to our issues.

I have been a customer for 10 years now and Everytime I enter this place it is always well landscaped and maintained,clean and no strangers just wondering around begging for money I feel safe walking in and out of the place. The staff are very good at fast and friendly service , always friendly and seem like they enjoy their jobs. I love walking into this facility to pay my bill vs online pay the atmosphere within itself is just therapeutic.
