Outstanding installers, especially Jose and his three teammates. Installation took 3 days vs 2, but that was warehouse issues sending the wrong parts. I’m 72, so waiting an extra day didn’t bother me. Thank you TriSmart

$0 Down? This is a lie and false advertising. They sell this lie by telling you you will get a rebate from the government when you file your taxes, "if you qualify." What they don't tell you is the rebate is a NON-refundable tax credit, and you never actually see the money. Instead, it goes against any tax burden you may owe. If you dont owe any taxes and actually get a refund, you still won't get the solar rebate because it is NON-refundable. The kicker is, around month 18/19, after your solar is installed, the company you're financed with wants their "downpayment" amount, which happens to be equal to the credit you got from government. If you don't pay it, your monthly solar payment will go up $100+ depending on the size of your system.

My system has an issue and they won't send out a tech.... they said we're short on techs so it can be a few months. I bet if I was buying more panels, they would send techs out quick!

UPDATE:
Garbage ass company!!!
DO NOT USE THEM!

They said they would be here today between 8am and 10am, they didn't show. I called and they're not sending anyone.

RUN!!! FIND A BETTER COMPANY!!

We recently have been approached to be a virtual power plant(VPP) for the Texas power grid maintained and monitored by ERCOT. Peak use days, on the hottest and coldest days of the year, the Texas power grid comes dangerously close to having rolling blackouts. With the increase of population in Texas, the power generation has failed to keep up with the power use levels. A new approach to power generation is the VPP. This past summer and fall, our neighborhood experienced numerous short blackouts. Homes in areas with rolling blackouts that have large power needs are fitted with solar panels and batteries to hold enough electricity to power many homes for several hours. During peak times when use exceeds electricity generation, our smart electric bidirectional meter controlled by ERCOT via internet is placed in reverse and the 3 giant electric storage batteries in our garage are emptied into the Texas power grid. The VPP program aims to stop rolling blackouts by generating electricity right where it is needed. 12 homes in our neighborhood spread over 2 streets were chosen for this new program.
The solar panels and batteries are owned by investors, so there is no cost to the home owner. The homeowner is given the electricity generated on their property at $0.120 per kWh. Far less than current electric rates of unregulated power providers. Additional electricity not generated from the roof is sold to the homeowner at $0.149 per kWh. During a storm related power outage or any outage other than a grid blackout, the controller in milliseconds switches the house power over to battery backup power.
TriSMART Solar was the chosen installer that in a quick 2 day period installed 54 solar panels, 27 inverters on our roof, 3 giant wall mounted batteries in our garage, a controller box, and 2 quick disconnects on the exterior of the garage next to the electric service and Smartmeter.
TriSMART did a great job with the installment, were very professional, polite,
friendly and respected us and our property.
The solar panels were placed neatly on 3 sides of a new addition to our home. TriSMART installers were very conscientious in trying to make the solar panels as neat as possible and not ugly to the front of the house.
When they left, the property was cleaned up, and all waste was taken away.
