Alicia at Redwood City store suggested I go to this store for help unlocking phones paid off but still showing carrier sim lock. I went Saturday morning, worried it would be crowded. I was greeted immediately by 2 reps. Luis ended up helping me. He’s incredible. He spoke with an internal team and in short order, totally resolved the issue on 4 devices. For the remainder, he gave me clear next steps and insightful suggestions on how to achieve my goals. This despite the fact T-Mobile was getting zero dollars from me (out of contract). The vibe at the store was really nice: relaxed but focused on serving customers. Staff spoke to each other and customers with respect, seemed happy to be there. Really a great experience. They sold me a phone without telling me all of its restrictions. They women that worked there lied to me and told me the phone would be unlockable after 30 days when actually iit's after 180 days of continuous use with the same #.. Very disappointing . Stay away from Metro / Metro T-Mobile and just go with T- Mobile itself.

I would say their staff are so unreliable. I wanted to trade in my old phone and get a new one, and I went there three times but every time the trade in price was different. The price varies from $350-$650 within one week. I asked why the value was so different, and the lady was so rude and kept saying “yes we have different promotions and you are in balabala plan”. I was so confused that how the estimate they gave me could drop from $650 to $350 in four days. So disappointed with their service and their attitudes to the customer.

I needed an additional SIM card urgently for my phone. The person I worked with, José I think? was very considerate of getting me what I needed. I had an issue with activation and after coming back he was able to get it fixed up straight away. Not a review on TMbs service but all the staff at this store were skilled at customer service.

Store people are okay. Corporate processes are not customer focused and only interested in increasing profits.

It's no wonder that their stock price is sinking while the market is up.

When you screw the customer in search of short term profits. It eventually comes back to bite your business.
