Great location! Surrounded by trees, it sits by a river that you can take steps down to a nice sandy area. Our spot has chairs we can sit in overlooking the river. It's by the highway, but the noise didn't bother us. I highly recommend for a nice peaceful stop! They have a nice common area with picnic tables, fireplace, TV, grilling area. If we had more time, we would stay longer!!

Quiet and tidy RV Park. No Frills, but very friendly. Laundry, super hot, high pressure showers, free dog and car wash. We were going to stop for only a night in Quartzite and boondock, but a change to our prior locations reservation meant we had to fill 3 night's. Jim was great and got us a site right away. Would definitely come back next time we were in the area or just passing through.

We are full timers and have stayed in tons of campgrounds. This is a great place. Small, well cared for, and the folks staying there were friendly. Wonderful laundry room and community room. Thanks for the great stay. We come through this area yearly. You have our business!

Remember the RV parks of yesteryear? a place to park with all the services but no amenities? Sorry, no pool, no golf course, no fancy canopies just good basic services. water, sewer, 50 amp power, fast great internet, washer, dryer, 2nd vehicle parking, close to center of town with propane just across the street and park activities. Jim likes to park each coach at his RV park. Makes folks police up their "junk". No screaming kids and barking dogs are kept under control. Great place to stay!!! I stayed for the introductory price of 3 nights for $60!!!!

Called to make a reservation. The gentleman goes through the what type of rv, size, how many nights. Then he says $50.00 a night which is great but I said just so you know online it says $35 a night. And he then says well there’s other rv parks you can go to then and hangs up. I wan just letting him know their own website says different. Rude and I will now go another park and $65 a night so I don’t have to deal with rude host like himself.

I called for rates from November through March. Who ever answered the phone asked about the size of my travel trailer which is just 14 foot. I told him, I wouldn't be using the sewer as my little trailer has a cassette toilet. He told me he can't help me and all the RV sites must be hooked to their sewage system. That's a new one for me. Nothing on the website has made note of this and I have never been denied anywhere else I have booked. I will not recommend this place as they discriminate against not using their sewage system even though my system is self contained.

I highly recommend this wonderful place. There is not a negative thing I can say. Well organized laudary. Even if you lose a sock, it will be recovered for you with "looking for a mate" clothespins on a wall plaque, so creative. Wish I would have gotten a picture. They have a separate laudary room for your dog bedding and a dog wash for 3$. So nice not to have to wash your clothes with dog hair. (I have 3 lol) There is a nice dog walk off the beaten path, or you can just walk your dogs in the park. Site is kept very clean. I enjoyed my stay very much. And Cass is so helpful with any questions you may have. I will diffently be back. Oh and BTW the rates are very reasonable. 😊

Update. 5th year staying here while passing though Quartzsite. Still awsome. Gets better every year. Jim is so kind and helpful.

Had a great multi-week stay here at The Scenic Road. All hookups worked perfectly, the sites are close together but everyone was a good neighbor. Met a lot of very decent people in this park. The manager(?), Jim, is a gentleman and keeps close watch over the park. Very safe and secure and close to all the local goings on without being right on the freeway. Look forward to coming back here in the future.
