First and foremost, I was excited about moving to Lakes of West Chester as it was closer to my sons and the area was very nice, however at the time of me dropping off my deposit and signing the lease I had a very challenging encounter with the leasing rep Sierra. She was rude, argumentative and unprofessional. I spoke with Tim about the issue, even though Sierra reminded me that Tim doesn’t run the place, he’s just the manager. I spoke with him anyway and he understood my issue and listened to me. He stated he would return my deposit since my decision was based off the treatment and issues from Sierra. I have not received my deposit back.

My issue with Sierra, when I dropped off my deposit Sierra gave me a paper showing my move in costs and date, the move in cost was lower than I expected so I re-confirmed w/Sierra about price from an integrity standpoint, she said yes everything was correct on the paper, so yay the price is lower. I’m about to sign the lease and I noticed the price changed to much higher than what we discussed. So now this is the 3rd price I’m seeing, so I spoke w/Sierra who then proceeds to tell me the first amount she told me was in error and I swear within a 15 min conversation she gave me a total of 5 different amounts to the point I was confused and she was getting agitated which now made me agitated because it was HER mistake in the first place. Once she started talking over me and became argumentative, I ended the call politely and found another apartment with NO HASSLE. I do not like confrontation, moving is stressful enough and having the leasing rep not take accountability but cause me more stress is not something I wanted to deal with. If she’s like this before I sign a lease just imagine how she will be long term. Read other reviews about her.

The Lakes at West Chester Luxury apartments are beautiful! I love my place and the management Tim Bendel is excellent and very efficient. He answered all my questions and addressed any concerns. I would refer anyone who’s interested.

Sierra was amazing from first interaction to move in the team at The lakes were professional helpful and communicative. Moving can be stressful and I'm telling you they all made it extremely seamless for me! I'm thankful!

Awesome stay of 4 years and counting. The management and maintenance are very responsive. Very safe and quiet community with very good shopping and dining options nearby. many walking/biking trails nearby. many parks nearby.

Bad experience! I came all the way from Columbus (Which is 2 hours away from here) and the staff didn't even help or tried to help. She had a rude attitude and didn't even try to help. Bad customer service. Staff are supposed to help, or even try it. But that lady (staff) ain't event tried.

The apartments is great the amenities not so much.
The gym is outdated the equipment isn’t taken care of. The tvs in the gym don’t work at all so why even have them there. The dog park is just a mud pit for dogs. Please update the gym and fix equipment I use it daily and that was a big factor living here.

Lovely apartment and excellent leadership!! Every instant that I had an issue with maintenance it was addressed directly! Beautiful grounds and environment. Great neighbors. Lot’s of amenities. Close to shopping and dining. Love it here!
