The Foundry has helped me totally transform my life! I battled addiction for 26 years. With the help of The Foundry I was able to break those chains that held me down for so long. I have to give all the Glory to God, but they have created an environment that nurishes the body, mind, and spirit! They teach people that we're not perfect, we can't let our past define us, and how important your relationshio with God plays in recovery! The place is not perfect but I am giving The Foundry a 5 star rating because Absolutely Everything You need to change is there. I'd like to personally thank each and every staff member there because of there dilligance in helping make a change in so many peoples lives!

My friend and I go treasure shopping every Friday and we just wanted to share how much fun we have at The Foundry. It is so organized and clean, and the staff is always helpful and friendly! It is our first stop and definitely our favorite of the day.

This place is racist my son was repeatedly called nxgger by another patient..and when he told staff nothing was done…another patient was offering drugs to my son that he brought into the facility during admissions‼️ the staff is unprofessional and are not welcoming at all. I should’ve knew upon arrival this place wasn’t a great place…flies are everywhere… for the time he was there he didn’t receive any drug support as far as counseling. They take the guys and drop them off to work like dogs at their thrift store from 8am-5pm with no pay. This place is more like a homeless shelter than a rehabilitation facility 😔 if you or your loved one is seeking help this isn’t the facility. They have guys whom have been there living in this center for years😔 and yes they take them to the stores as needed in the most slimmiest drug ridden neighborhoods so of course they can sneak drugs in like that as well.. all in all you gotta want help to get it but it shouldn’t have to struggle in rehab❤️‼️

I hope that you can’t sleep as I can’t. You kicked my son out of the program because he would fall asleep and snore “very loudly”. I spoke to Scott about health issues that he may have had and he was very polite and understanding. He was willing to let him go to medical the following Thursday. Days later I got a call from my son that “some white boys” keeps telling that he fall asleep.
I’m not a aggressive person but I am woman that goes to the end of the earth for my children. I’m not a racist either but I am aware that the lighter complexion tends to be more privileged.
There’s a short man at the front that I think was a recovered addict that had it out for my son. I want to refer to him as “runt”. The runt was constantly picking with him.
My son was kicked out of the program because he refused a drug store that he felt he was being treated unfairly. Bring kicked out would mean 17 years in prison for my son.
July 20th my son’s heart stopped. He had heart problems which explained a lot the medical things that was happening to him.
I lost my baby!!!!!! 28 years old!! And I feel he would have still been here if he was not treated so unfairly. I don’t even remember the other man’s name that sat in for conversation with me and my son in the place of Scott. But he was a bit rude to me as well. He just walked out of the room while I was speaking. Such disrespect. I rarely give google reviews but this had to be said.
I was told when I pulled up to the business that people were very racist. I ignored it because I prayed for the best.
Good luck to all of you going to this facility or any for that matter
Grieving mother

FECES COVERING THE BATHROOM WALLS AND ABSOLUTELY NO MEDICAL OVERSIGHT OF ANY KIND (UNLESS YOU CAN WAIT WEEKS) PLEASE DETOX BEFOREHAND no "medical" help, no medical detox, i received medication from other members of the program, was stuck with a massive er bill, and wish i had never ever agreed to go. I found the help I needed elsewhere. please go to a methadone clinic, or just another program. you will be forced to work no matter how bad the withdrawals.

There are some good people here at least when I went through program twice back 2012-2014. Again met a few great people there and I am still friends with many of the people I met here to this day. However now that I have 6 years off opiates I see the extreme problems this 'ministry' has. Beyond the many ways I am sure they are using this place as a massive tax shelter to rack in millions a year off the backs of the people desperate for help, they also have no real addiction structure to the program other than glorified bible study and no real counseling. The main goal is to staff and run their many properties which include several thrift stores and housing facilities. When I was there I stayed in the dorms which were infested with cockroaches and rats. I caught 12 rats in one day after setting traps near my food storage locker. Many people passed away while I was there, most where people that left the program or where kicked out and would OD shortly after. Josh Casey, Greg Day, Shane Black, Jeff King, Big Jeff, Will Bright to name just a few of the great guys I met and who passed away while they were in or near the program. I wish that all of their families know peace, and I am honored to have known them. They claim some sort of religious exemption and yes we would go to church there but it was some sort of quasi-religious program with this really strange man named Ricky Todd leading praise music with the same 12 songs over and over and over again for a year. Bill Hines would preach the same 12 sermons over and over again. I heard his son got a girl pregnant who was in the program at one time years ago from several people as well. The main purpose again of this program is to make money off free labor, real estate, private donations etc. Do not send your son or daughter here if you can go any where else. I would suggest going to ALR in Bessemer. Robbie Kibbell is a great man and runs a fine program that is 12 Step based. I am saying all this hopefully save your son or daughter's life. With fentanyl killing so many people anyone that takes advantage of addicts is doing the work of Satan and not God.
