I chose to work with Taylor Energy for my first solar install after getting quotes from them and several other businesses, all larger than Taylor. My decision was based heavily on the personal attention to detail and the relationship that the company showed, as well as the firsthand praise I heard when asking my neighbors about their experiences with Taylor. They are also local to my town, and their pricing was flexible and competetive. By flexible, I mean I was able to request multiple different designs to land at the best solution for my needs. They didn't try to push me for a bigger system, and in fact recommended I avoid purchasing a battery storage solution at the outset, based on my particular usage case.

Over the course of the project, everything felt great. I got personal communication from the owner of the company. The installers I would say set the bar for my experience with installers in any field - they were super professional and made sure to communicate their intended routing and plans prior to moving forward with those decisions during the install day. Results were super clean. I will also say I was surprised at how quickly I went from contract signing, to install, to approval. I may have just been lucky, but everything progressed very smoothly with little downtime.

At this point I have only had the system a month, but everything is working great and I feel very good about my choice to go with Taylor. After every stage of the install process, the owner of the company came out to make sure that the job was up to standard and that I as the client was happy with the results. If not, even if it was a minor thing, he made sure it got fixed. I would 10/10 recommend this company with no reservations. A great team!

Taylor Energy was very good at working with us, and educating us, to insure we got the system that met our objectives. They easily addressed physical constraints that we had to deal with and raised important issues we had not considered. They handled all PG&E and City permitting and inspection requirements. Our system was installed in three phases to meet our needs. We wanted a local contractor that we could call if issues arose but we have had no issues. In addition to providing excellent workmanship, their workers kept us well informed about what was happening and when. It was a pleasure to work with them. We are extremely happy with our system. These people were a pleasure to work with because of the following reasons. Tory helped us customize our system to meet and exceed our needs and work in our budget. Simple for us because they took care of all permits and paperwork and walked us through each step. Electric system needed upgrading and in difficult place and they took care of it. The crews they sent to do work were a pleasure to have in our home. The owner Sean Taylor came by after each install of materials and to check work and make sure we were happy and to answer any questions. Communication between office and signing documents was made very easy. We have recommended Taylor energy and are enjoying being on solar with battery backup for when PGE goes out and we keep running. We are giving more to the grid than we consume and are waiting for PGE to start giving us credit. We highly recommend these people.

Every team member was very friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. They made the process extremely easy and the installation itself was unbelievably efficient and tidy.
