Sylvan has changed my daughter’s life! She came in with very low confidence and struggling with basic reading skills as well as testing lower on math. Steve helped me customize the best plan for my daughter and she has done a complete 180. My daughter is now reading above grade level and her confidence has grown so much! Before starting Sylvan my kid in 2nd grade had trouble focusing and listening and was falling behind below grade level. After only 2 months or Sylvan center we had a teachers meeting and she informed us how amazing he has been doing. He started working hard, paying attention and progressed over 100% on testing. She told us he progressed and scored the highest in the class. His teacher was thrilled and amazed at all the growth and change she has seen since starting Sylvan learning center! Sylvan Learning has been a wonderful experience for my family. My 6 year old son has dramatically improved with his math, reading and writing. They truly care about setting the kids up for success. After about nine months of holding off, I finally wanted to share my thoughts on Sylvan Boca. Despite hitting my goals within the first four months, I just had to wait a bit before giving my two cents. Even though there’s another Sylvan center in town, a friend suggested this location, and I can see why. Each location seems to have its own approach, and we’re happy to have Mr. Springer as the director. Education is a big deal in our household, so we wanted to invest wisely for our little one. He’s growing up in a multilingual environment, and we’re all about fostering his language skills. While he’s doing well in school, we wanted to give him an extra boost in reading. Can't hurt, right? I was a bit hesitant about how he’d take to tutoring outside of school since he is pretty young, but he’s actually loving it—guess Sylvan knows how to make learning enjoyable. And I can see tremendous improvement in him over the past semester. Planning to stick with Sylvan for his weekly sessions as long as he keeps enjoying and improving. Thinking about adding writing to the mix next year. The teachers here are dedicated and really tuned in to each child’s needs. Definitely recommending this place to other parents.

Based on the assessment, my 4th grader was about a year behind in reading. In six weeks at Sylvan Boca, she moved up seven months in her reading level, and she’s now almost at grade level. We’ve been very happy with the level of service and attention from Steve and his staff of tutors, and very impressed with my child’s progress. She loves going to Sylvan, too, and for me, that’s the best part!
