I got SunRise solar about 18 months ago, I’ve had two minor problems, they send someone out quickly. I have experienced excellent, professional and pleasant service with installation and follow up. As a side note the service person today said he has been with the company for 15 years, a great company and great boss!!

I've had my solar from Sunrise Solar Roofing installed for almost a year now. Choosing to go with Sunrise Solar was the best decision I could have made. I saved thousands, yes THOUSANDS of dollars going with them instead of one of the big corporate solar companies. They offer top of the line equipment and a primo warranty with the largest solar panel and equipment manufacturers in the world.

These guys are also roofers, so you can have complete assurance that your solar will be installed properly and securely to your roof without fear of future leaks or damage. Right after installation, our solar panels weathered one of the worst winters Sacramento has ever seen, with multiple days of pounding rain and wind gust over 80+ mph. Our solar was unscathed and not a drip of water made it through the roof.

I worked directly with Adam from start to finish. And was extremely knowledgeable and able to thoroughly explain and answer all my questions. He helped with every step of the process including design, finance, inspection, connection to the grid with PG&E and even helping with setting up systems monitoring software. It was an incredibly smooth process. I can't thank him enough for making this project go as smooth as possible. I must give a shout out to Juan and the installation team as well. I was amazed at how quickly and thoroughly these guys worked. They are highly skilled and you can see the years of experience shine through in their quality of work.

Bottom line...Don't waste your time looking any further! Sunrise Solar Roofing is the one to go with. Don't go with the big corporate solar companies that sell overpriced equipment who will also just slap up your solar with little care for your roof. Go with a local company that cares about their reputation in the community they live and work in and who have years of experience in the roofing industry. You won't regret it.

Worked with Adam to design the perfect solar system for my home & the bills are less than $100.00 per year now! While designing the solar system Adam noticed my attic had poor ventilation so they added some proper vents & its like a whole new house. Very satisfied with the whole process & they finished ahead of schedule.

Extremely knowledgeable office staff & the construction crew was courteous, no trampled plants or trash left behind when they finished. Highly recommend!

Sunrise Solar installed a system for us on our previous home and did a fantastic job, so when we moved to a new home and based on the past experience calling them was a natural thing to do. Our estimate was done quickly- and all details explained- with information provided on panels, inverter, etc; for our review. When we agreed and entered into contract, Sunrise facilitated engineering drawings, submitted them to our HOA and to the county for permits- once obtained their install was fast and efficient. Final inspections by county and PG&E had our system running within 5 days from the time they started- Their crews are professional, competent and left the areas clean! I would recommend Sunrise Solar for your system install and roofing needs.

It’s been almost a year since I’ve gone solar and Sunrise Solar Roofing have been top notch with their great customer service since their initial quote presentation.

Adam provided me with all the info and answers that made me understand the process from start to finish.

And mind you that it took me a full year of research and figuring out what my break even would be and going back as much as 3-4 years of PG&E bills to really understand how much I was bleeding in electricity $$. Once I understood that by going solar I would break even after 7 years, the next step was finding the right solar company to go with.

I started by signing up with energy sage and it was a free service they offered that would allow solar companies to make a bid and provide you with details of how many panels, which panel company, how much projected solar production and costs associated with what you are being quoted with.

Initially I was going to select a solar company that was out of the area because they offered me a lower quote but since that company told me that it would take them 3 months out to start thats when I decided to go local and went with Sunrise Solar Roofing which I’m glad I did because from Adam’s initial meeting with me to when they completed the install, it all happened within a month! What made them stand out from all the many other solar companies is that this company started out as roofers and made sure your roof was sound and secure before the install.

Adam has been a very helpful person even a year later answering my questions when I thought I had issues with my solar panels or even helping me with making sure I did the right thing when it was time for taxes so I could get my solar tax credit.

When they did the install, it took them 3 days total and that’s because I also had them install a Quiet Cool Whole House Fan as part of the package. The workers were super professional and respectful of our home too!

Definitely do your research and good luck! I highly recommend you give Sunrise Solar Roofing a call, you won’t regret it!

We take care of my elderly mother. She has severe memory loss & cognitive decline. These guys from your company showed up at our house, ignoring the obvious No Soliciting sign on our door. She answered the door & they started promising her the world with solar. Because we pay all the bills she called us over. They were extremely pushy, which is a huge red flag. When they weren't getting anywhere with us, they asked to speak to my mother again. We started asking them to leave, & they refused. My husband told them they were trespassing & needed to leave our property or he would call the police. Again, they refused & continued on with their scummy sales tactics. He took out his phone, & started to call the police. Only then did they finally leave.

We do want solar for our house. However, we don't make big financial decisions without researching it first. The fact that these guys were so pushy that we literally had to call the police to make them leave tells me everything I need to know about Sunrise. I 100% believe they would have taken advantage of my mother's Alzheimer's if we hadn't been there. I'm absolutely disgusted by the predatory business tactics this company's employees utilize when dealing with potential customers.
