We had solar panels installed on our home a couple of years ago. The SunOn staff is very knowledgeable and the techs jumped through all the hoops required by the city. They did a great job and we were happy with the outcome. A couple of weeks ago we had our house re roofed and we called SunOn to remove and replace them for us. They removed the panels quickly and had them replaced within a few days after the roof was finished. We are happy with the work they did for us and would recommend them to anyone looking for solar installation.

Be very carful working with this company. They get you to sign up with them and they say there going to do everything and you don't have to worry about anything.
To start off with i signed the contract with them in June and paid them three quarters of what i owe and i still don't have solar power. They are blaming everything on PG&E and PG&E is saying that the contractor did not do what was instructed them to do.
I have contacted SunOn many times and all they say is that there waiting for PG&E. I would think that if they had any customer service skills they would do something to keep the customer happy instead of saying there is nothing we can do.
So they sign you up they take your money, and put panels on your roof and then that's it. So its been almost 5 months and still no solar.
I will add to this review or start a new one with updates.

First off I would like to say that Sunon Energy installation employees are great and get the job's done with no problems.
Their Office Staff is a big problem with them with always making excuses on the timeframe for getting your installation done in a timely manner from the day you sign the contract. It took over 7 months for them to install our Backup Generator System and it took them months to pay the Sub Contractor that installed the Propane Tanks and Lines that feed the Backup Generator.
I have spent alot of money with them doing our Solar System and the Backup Generator System to the tune of over $60K which later I found out that I paid about $15K more than what others charge for the same Solar and Back Up Generator System Installed.

Highly recommend this company, we had solar installed 5 years ago with another company that is no longer in business, we have had a few issues with our panels and they have taken care of us as if we bought from them. We did add another panel from them and they were here on time and took great care to respect our property, they also found that a couple of our panels were not placed properly and they are going to move them for us,

Met with Larry Servis who was very helpful and informative about the services SunOn solar systems would provide if we decide to go with SunOn systems. My wife and I are still looking to talk to a few more solar companies before pulling the trigger on solar. However, the price seems to be where I want, and we are very interested.

It took me 2cyears to find decent solar company and installer. I ran across sun on solar and in an evening a after work I had all the paper work taken care of. 2weeks later they showed up in burney and had me installed and hooked up with permits in a day. I have friends that went with other company's with agreements 2/3 months prior and I got hooked up months before the did very please with this company SUN ON u ROCK

Sun-On Energy was not only professional but extremely detailed and very good with communication and follow through. The employees were neat and clean with their working areas. We would highly recommend SunOnto anyone looking to go with solar. You won’t be disappointed.
