Well I was so happy that Sundance finally scheduled us for our long awaited Solar Edge inverter replacement. Johnathan and Alex did a great and efficient job. They brought the correct mounting bracket and were done within an hour.

Our inverter had failed back in March after 9 years of operation. But, I had not noticed a problem when I checked my monitoring readings until April. I then realized that the readings were in WH not KWH because our electric bill was much higher than usual. We had lost a month of generation by that time. A Sundance tech came out in May and by mid June the replacement inverter was in our garage waiting to be installed. Problem was that the new inverter had a different fit and form. Thus the cable ports on the Control Switch Unit and the updated inverter did not align if mounted on the existing mounting bracket. Sundance went back to Solar Edge for the required bracket that would fix the misalignment. After more waiting for way too long , yesterday we began to generate power again. We had lost a whole summer of power generation and paid expensive electric bills for about 6 months. Hope this is an aberration and not what most inverter replacements are like.

It was finally time to go solar. I’ve batted the idea around for a while now, and after a lot of research, quotes, phone calls and in person meetings from several companies, we went with Sundance Power Systems. What set them apart is that they really listened to my needs for the system and followed through. So many others just want to upsell you with more than you need. They also made me an offer with high quality equipement that I couldn’t refuse.
They stopped by and did the full install today and it looks fantastic. You could tell the install guys were proud of their work and were excited for me to see it when I arrived home from work. They inspected everything to make sure it functioned properly after install and checked the grounds to clean up anything left behind. They were great; not just because of their work but because they put up with my kids too ?. Unbeknownced to their mother, our two kids 11 & 9 on their recess break, decided they would ambush the install guys with a pinecone barrage ‍♂️. But the guys were great sports, laughed and just chucked a few back at them. I caught some of it on our securities cameras and had to laugh. Homeschool kids. What can you do with them ?….
Really a great and experienced choice for photovoltaic systems.

Happened to have our solar install structurally complete right before Helene hit. By the Wednesday after, Brian came over (even though I wasn't even his project), and got my battery online with the house through bluetooth connection. We went from having no power at all to reliable fridge/freezer and hot water, for over a week longer that it took for grid power to get back online. It was quite literally life changing during that time.

Will did a great job setting expectations and getting everything properly installed. Could not be happier with what I have now, and with how timely it ended up being!

Wow, thank you so much! Sundance has been an amazing partner to work with to bring our 7 years power research to life! We have had so many positive experiences with Sundance since April. Our first experience was with Adam Reda who spent a great amount of time with us discussing our solar needs/wants. He is not a sales person, rather an amazing energy consultant to know! Adam was knowledgeable, creative, and patient as we designed our solar power system over about 2 months. Every person thereafter we met at Sundance has been exceptional. Our install team, Will (Project Manager), Paolino, Joe (Cooler Guy), Duncan, Sean, and Shawn were awesome! Spending a week with this team was truly exceptional experience. The Install Team worked in excessive heat and stayed Positive, Neat/Clean, and Safe the entire week. Each team member took the time to talk and explain whenever we had a question. If there was a change or better idea during the install, we were involved before a decision was finalized. We can't say enough good things about how happy we are with our install. The team even took the time to kindly acknowledge our 4 & 8 year olds who loved curiously spying on the entire process. We look forward to Madison County and French Broad Electric inspecting/approving our system and working with Sundance for years to come. Thank you again Sundance for being so awesome!
