Sundam Energy installed the solar at my house about 5 years ago. A few months ago my solar abruptly stopped working. I contacted the company with the contract in hand stating that there was a 12-year labor warranty on ALL repairs, including diagnostics related to performance, shortfalls, or trips (including labor to replace parts). The company originally denied warranty saying that it was too old and they don’t operate with our solar system anymore (also asking for $550 to even come out to assess the issue). They proceeded to drag their feet in responses and only reluctantly came to see the issue at my property after making multiple attempts to contact them. Someone came from their company and reset the system which to no surprise did NOT fix the problem. When asked for next steps on multiple calls and texts over a week there was no response. Be cautious using this company.

I had solar installed less than 2 years ago with a 15+ year warranty. At the time of install they failed to bother installing the monitoring system and it was only after months of contact that they reviewed the contract and determined they were at fault and deployed someone to install the new equipment. Upon installing the equipment they found that 2 inverters had gone bad or were bad from the start. Unclear since there was no testing or data to validate the functionality.

I am now in an ongoing battle to get warranty work completed and it has been months and they continue to push blame on the manufacturer of the equipment and claim they are waiting for an RMA to replace the failed equipment as they do not keep it in their inventory.
