Love our new solar panels! Chris and Alice came to our house, did a thorough inspection of our current solar system to see how best to optimize our solar system. They determined that we needed a few more panels to get the most coverage for our home. They made the paperwork process very easy, and the installation was also done very professionally and quickly. Can’t remember the names of those who were actually on the roof doing the install, but they were very professional, friendly, and kept us informed of everything that they were doing. Very happy so far. Would definitely recommend this company.

Tl;dr My experience with Sun Source was outstanding. They were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions, either by the end of the day, or end of the next business day. They were the lowest “price per watt” (which another company told me was a good metric to use to compare). The time from my initial contact with Sun Source to my system being activated was just over two months, which included: consultation, paperwork, permits, installation, applications, and inspections. The free app that comes with the system is very helpful too.

I was first contacted by Sun Source through Yelp while initially collecting information. Their contact Sean was the most willing to answer my basic questions without needing too much personal info, which I really appreciated. He put me in touch with David who performed the initial consultation.

David is a true professional in this business. We performed a Zoom call, and he had figures, images, charts, data, prices, everything I could ask for. He answered all the remaining questions I had and really sold me that Sun Source was a great option. I still had consultations with three other companies, just to do my due diligence, but I was confident Sun Source was the best choice.

Once I figured out finances on my end, we moved forward and had paperwork completed within a few days. Derek performed a site inspection shortly thereafter. He was prompt, friendly, and professional. Solar panels were installed about two weeks later once permits were approved. The crew was quick and friendly as well. They finished installation the same day. Applications and inspections through the City, NVEnergy, and my HOA took about a month to complete. Once everything was approved, Derek returned to activate our system.

Everything else has been smooth sailing thus far. Having the mySolarEdge app to monitor the system is a big plus in my opinion. It makes it very easy to see how much energy is being produced, how much each panel produces (to monitor for any faulty ones), and to monitor production over long periods of time (week to week, month to month, and year to year).

Overall, I had a great experience, and I would recommend Sun Source to anyone else looking to install Solar.
