I live in an apartment specially for 3 years. I never had a problem with this service. All of a sudden, when they come to turn off my gas the turn around time is a day later to turn it back on.

In addition to that Customer service is terrible considering I reached out to them days in advance. I believe they do what they want to get extra money out of hard working people. I will never use this service once my contract is up again.

I would give a half of star if possible. I have had this service since 2015. Really no issues. I had forgotten to pay my bill because they no longer have an app and I have a busy schedule. Called to pay the bill, paid the bill in full. Get home service still not on. Call customer service, gentlemen I spoke to was very nice. Explained that the first appointment was the next day. I explained I work and would not be home, he then told me to call Atlanta gas and see if I could possibly do something. It was an automated system and informed me to call my marketer. At this time no time frames or how the scheduling was explained to me at all. I call the next day on my lunch break, and I had received a message of a technician at my home. The lady on the phone was nice. And said the appointment could not be rescheduled until the technician left. The next appointment wasn’t until the next day when once again I will be at work. I spoke with a supervisor who was rude and kept telling me there was nothing she could do. They are not in control of the scheduling at all and she could not help me. So I pay a company who can’t help their customers. As soon as I am able I will be canceling this service.

If you're looking for a energy company I would try Scana before Stream to be honest. Scana offers a better rate and the customer service is a step up from Stream, its not the best service unfortunately. Also If you fall on tough times they do not offer payment plans. They may offer you one and then cancel it the next day even if its the first time. I've seen it happen. Best of luck.

I wish I had done my own due diligence and checked reviews before switching. #1 they don’t explain the rate lock and then #2 I just recently called to make payment arrangements for a bill and they disconnected me 2 days before the arranged payment date and are charging me to reconnect.

This is the worst gas company I have applied for. I was highly disappointed being how I was a loyal customer for some years until I decided to not renew my contract back in November .Be aware when not renewing the contract and trying to disconnect their services. Representatives will try to still persuade you like you can't disconnect services and automatically
putting you on the most expensive plan that you haven't asked for. I was misinformed numerous times by different representatives for canceling the services with them. They will try to overprice you for the final bill when you do not want to do business with them anymore. It took numerous attempts to rectify this situation.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not use this company!!! Customer service could not be worse. Completely incompetent and will look for any reason to overcharge, late fee etc. I was paying them thru online banking and they were applying payments to the wrong account. I spent hours on the phone with these morons trying to get the payment applied correctly and the late charges removed.

Georgia residents get ripped off by gas providers with extra levels of fees. Deregulation was a massive lie.

They decided to screw a customer that had been with them for years and charge 2.5 times the going rate for natural gas
