Great locally owned business. Some things are expensive but not everything so shop wisely. The bulk items in general are priced reasonably and if you like good cheese there's an excellent variety. Also meat and seafood is very fresh. Look for specials not everything is expensive. Bakery is also good and reasonably priced.

It's a great store,. Nothing else like it in Watsonville. Everything is super good quality. Fantastic selection of beers and wine. With a section that is exclusively herbal holistic medicine. And a section of kitchen tools, cookware, storage containers.

Have no idea what the name means but this is an awesome store. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful, well lit and well stocked grocery store in Watsonville of all places. They literally have a bit of everything and they even have products I’ve never seen before.
Was super impressed by their refrigerated section just with vegan prepared food to go like tofu “egg” scramble, soup, pesto pasta, etc. I really enjoyed the tofu scramble. Filling and delicious.
You name the drink and they have it. Whomever orders their supplies is doing an incredible job.
The hot buffet area was just okay but seemed to be popular.
It’s a small but efficient store with something for everyone. Best store I’ve been to in years.

Definitely a place for connoisseurs. Lots of vegan+gluten free goodies.

Prices are good too, compared to San Jose standards.

If you're someone who reads ingredient labels, you'll probably like this store.

I’m so annoyed at these 1 star reviews. If you don’t care about your health just say so. It’s hard to find grocery stores that even carry organic quality ingredients. I love coming here and browsing the aisles. I wish I had one of these down in so cal . Staff is very friendly and proud of their products 🙂

Unbelievably overpriced. Abandoned our cart when we saw the prices for simple staples. Avoid Staff of Life unless you're loaded and don't care about your financial situation. Makes "Whole Paycheck" seem reasonable.

Love this place, as a life long resident of Watsonville it was always a hassle having to drive north out of town to get all these different types of healthy food options, supplements etc. Having one finally local is a godsend. The buffet/salad bar is bomb too and offers a quick healthy choice, i eat here multiple times a week. staff is super friendly and nice, from the guys at the meat section, deli and cashiers (Levi is always great). Overall 5/5, hope this place is here to stay a part of the south county community for good.
