Riley from South Swell Electrical set up a house battery system for my MB 4x4 Passenger Van. It powers 1500 watts of amp, a 22” flip down TV, an inverter, and two additional 12v outlets that I added to my cab overhead storage shelves. He listed all the parts I needed to order for the entire package and only charged me for his time and labor. The lithium ion battery itself he was able to fit under the hood (to save space under the seat) by expertly modifying a OEM battery bracket to fit. Riley also helped run wire to a rack mounted light bar. The job was very professionally done and completed in a timely manner. I’m extremely happy with his work and I highly recommend South Swell Electrical.

My experience with this company was truly a dream! Riley was SO helpful with the electric build in my camper van through the planning and installation, and he even checked in with me after it had been completed to ensure everything was running properly :). He was super knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I had with kindness and understanding. I’m truly so grateful for my experience with South Swell and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Riley with South Swell Electrical was excellent - he was responsive and set up an appointment with me quickly, fixed everything I needed right on time, for a great price. He's very easy to work with and I felt completely comfortable leaving my 2004 t@b (which had very wonky electrical set up) in his hands. We'll be back to South Swell the next time we have something come up!

This review has been a long time coming! Its kinda long but it took a long time to solve my van problem. I had a van built in Philly in Jan 2022 the work was done very well and everything was working well until about Sept 22. For some reason the battery system completely died. I live full time in my van bc i work on the west coast (my home base is florida). So i took it back and forth to 3 so called van experts and no one could figure the issue out. Roll around to Jan 23, my van builder recommended Riley. He happened to be out of the country so i waited for him and we finally connected in march. He ran diagnostics and diagnosed the problem that day. He documented, with photos everything he did, made the calls back and forth with renogy. All 3 batteries were basically dead! Renogy took them back and sent 3 new ones. Riley installed them and i have not had any issues with my electrical since. I am so grateful to have found him! He does excellent work, i would recommend him to anyone and everyone who needs anything done electrically or solar. Thank u sooooo much Riley!

Riley installed the entire electrical system in my RV van- Inverter/charger/ batteries/ DC-DC charger, etc., and ran the wiring to the outlets. He also programmed the components, and made sure it was all working properly. His work was perfect and it was done in a very timely manner. My system has been working great ever since. This is the company to go with!

Riley, at South Swell Electrical was recommended to me by another automotive outfit. I could not say enough good things about Riley, he was such a breath of fresh air and via email responded promptly everytime!!! I have a wheelchair conversion van that had numerous intermittent electrical issues with electric emergency break, doors opening/closing, life unfolding, transfer seat. The SLO wheelchair conversion company closed down with Covid and the other company in Fresno closed down a few months ago! That I know of, the closest one to us now is in Watsonville, Sacramento or Southern California! Seeing as mine was all electrical problems, which unfortunately happen frequently, I was determined to find somebody local!! I tried Ride On transportation because they have wheelchair converted vans and he tried his best and thought all it needed was to be greased! Got home and guess what, same problems, nothing works! That's where Riley comes in, I emailed him and he responded quickly!!!! That in itself was a surprise, A QUICK RESPONSE, but he also said he would be more than willing to look at it in a few days if that worked for me. I said YES seeing as I was still able to use my van the way it was. I dropped the van off and within a couple of hours he calls me. The way these vans are set up, the emergency break, which is now done by a switch on the dash, has to be totally functional for all the other electrical items to work; it's a safety feature! Well, that switch was all gumed up and not working properly and there were a few other issues both of which Riley took care of! He then tried over and over again throughout the day to open the doors, unfold/fold lift etc and they worked like a charm everytime!!! With electrical problems, you start at the most basic issue first and then work forward!!!! Unfortunately, I have found that for most mechanics/auto repair people they are stumped by electrical issues and start replacing things that don't need to be replaced! They are good when it comes to the initial installation but not so good when it comes to trouble shooting interminent electricsl problems! Riley, at South Swell Electrical does the wiring for regular van conversions and he KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING, he truly understands how things work!!!!!!! From now on, South Swell Electrical will be my answer for any/all other electrical problems I encounter!!!!!! RILEY was SO PROFESSIONAL, RESPONDED PROMPTLY and LISTENS TO YOUR CONCERNS, an ALL AROUND GREAT GUY!!!!!! I definitely would recommend Riley and South Swell Electrical to everybody!!!!! Again, THANK YOU RILEY, YOU SAVED ME!!!!!!
