Just moved here and my water bill was over $100 for two water-conscious people, when I called to find out what the error was (because I was sure this was a mistake) they assured me that this was correct. My actual water usage bill was only $14 but they have a $90 “monthly base service charge” no matter your consumption. They should be ashamed charging people insane amounts for a necessary utility.

Soquel creek water district are crooks. Ever since I moved here my bills have never been lower then 120.00 for a family of 3. For this month of November my bill was 266. They claim that we use 125 gallons a day how is that it’s only a 725 sq foot apartment with no yard. Figure that out not even a house it’s an apartment. This company is a complete thief and abuser.

Since the transition to Water Smart I have spent hours trying in vain to print out statements from prior months. I have gone to the original site and Water Smart but have no access prior to May 2023.
