Worst company ever! My contract started September 9, 2022 for the installation of solar panels. The solar panels were installed on my house but the installers never did a good job, inspections never pass due to their failure and the company had never done anything to fix the problem. Recently, 3 inspectors went to my house because they had appointments scheduled and non of the contractors from solvent construction showed up! Solgen construction never answers my text messages, they choose to ignore me every single time. They truly do not care about their customer! If you can avoid
them please do! They just want your money, once they receive the money for the solar panels they will forget about you and if you decide to send them a text they will only tell you lies about showing up and that they will fix the problem but they never do.

We have been trying go get a hold of them because our solar panels never worked and I'm paying high tru up bills. I need them to come check to see what's going on but they are not responding at all. I feel I need to start contacting lawyers.

Core Energy has not responded to a simple request to check the panel that is not working since installation for 14 months. The only way to contact is text and they have been saying we will schedule it as soon as possible and it has been 14 months. Now they don't even respond anymore. Truly a bad investments of 30k with no support.

This company has got to be the worst company ever. Do not trust them. You can’t get a hold of any one, phone always goes to voicemail and you get a text back with the same response and updates. I got panels 9 months ago and they are still not connected to the grid. City came once and said they made so many errors when installing the panels and they have not come yet to fix their errors. Stay away from this company at all cost. I’ve been scammed and you will too.

The services provided have been incredibly disappointing. Despite initiating the project back in October 2022, the solar system remains unconnected to this day. Each time I reached out to Core, they simply instructed me to be patient and referred me to PGE. However, upon contacting PGE recently, I discovered that they had sent Core an email as far back as May 2023, requesting necessary documents. Shockingly, there have been no updates or responses since then.

Just had my solar project done by Core, it was not a good experience. I had an agreement to have a specific type of panels installed, but they decided to go with a cheaper brand instead. Unfortunately, I was at work during the install so I could not verify the panels. Furthermore, they left a mess after installation. There were hardware and plastic bags that were left behind on the ground. Not only that, I live in Victorville, where it is windy. There were debris left on the roof that were later blown off by the wind. When I called back regarding the panels, they said that it’s in their contract that they can’t promise a specific type of panels and they can exchange panels with similar tier and warranty as they seem fit. THIS IS BAIT AND SWITCH. How dare they say they can choose their own panels, when we already agreed to specific ones and it’s my project the customer should be able to get what they want. They also messed up another project for my neighbor, the panels were not even leveled! After filing a complaint, I found they were subcontracting out their projects which explains the sub par work that they were doing. If Core is your local installer, please do not go with them. Do not recommend them even to my worst enemy.

*Update 5/13/22*
Hello Cole, you mentioned 445 Watts panels but the ones I got was 365 Watts so this is certainly not the case. In addition, I agreed to low profile panels, which are supposed to be all-black, not the silver on white frames I received.

Also, I really hope my project and my neighbor's project were done under
subcontractors. If this was done by regular core crew, I really question the amount of detail your regular crew puts into making sure to clean up after themselves after a job, not to mention ensuring that the panels are at LEAST leveled before leaving a job site. This is just basic contractor and craftmanship etiquette, which your supervisor, Josh, affirmed.

Please do contact me ASAP, so we can discuss these issues. Today marks 2 months since installment, I am still in the dark regarding PTO (Permission to Operate), no one has given me an update from your company.

The installers for the company, Core Energy Group, for my Solar panels, , who work with “CALIFORNIA Efficiency Group, we’re an exceptional, professional Installation team!! Thank you for doing such a great job and making me feel confident and comfortable with this entire process! I was doubting my decision but Gustavo and his installers worked hard and made me feel that i made the right choice!! Recommend highly!

On November 19 2022 I was sent a text stating that my solar project would be done. As of today April 112024 it’s not done yet. Also, the entire process was very deceiving. Because once the city was involved apparently the system that I was provided required an additional cost. How convenient for Core. On 2 separate instances they still need “refinance the loan” I’m sure the loan was approved back in 2022. First time I agreed to finance because I took on the task to upgrade the meter. I’m not taking that chance anymore. I will need to acquire counsel. 2-3months process. Going on 2 years! Professionalism 0! Communication 0! Honesty 0! Trusted the wrong solar company 100!!!
