I recently bought a new house in Savannah with solar already installed. During the due diligence phase, I needed an expert to consult, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Payton was kind and provided me with helpful tips and recommendations throughout the process. He took his time to ensure I understood everything and felt comfortable. We got Solar from Payton when he was doing "door to door" sales in our neighborhood in Guyton. He told so many lies. He said we'd get the tax credit of $18,000 when we file our taxes (not that simple at all) and we did not get it. After 18 months our payment went up $140 because we didn't put the $18,000 (that we were supposed to get easily) towards the loan to keep our monthly payments the same. He said we could take the solar panels with us if we moved, even if they had a loan on them and that is not true. The lender does not allow them to be moved till the loan is paid off. He said the lien was only on the solar panels, not the house, again that is a lie. A UCC was filed on the title of the house. Lastly, he did not mention that the warranty is voided if we move the solar panels from their current location. We were very clear with Payton about how we wanted to make sure we could take them with us and he lied through his teeth saying no problem. He won't answer the phone and the company he was with when he sold us the panels is now not showing up and the contacts on the contract for that company all go to people who no longer work for the company. Its all suspicious and a huge scam. Please do your research before trusting him!!

My average bill without solar was anywhere from 110-150 bucks. Now with solar it’s 80-110 bucks! Plus the 252 dollar monthly loan amount that demands a 30% of the total loan amount within 18 months or they raise your monthly payment. So I went from a reasonable 150 bucks, to 40 bucks off my bill cause the state of Georgia does NOT do 1:1 net metering PLUS 252 a month. I added 212 dollars to my monthly payments 🙂 I’ll happily discuss my process, my payments, and anything else you may want to discuss if you’re looking into solar. From an actual customer’s perspective and I’ll show you all the numbers as well! Thank you Payton!
