I called about getting a battery array hooked up. I left my information and what I was looking for by text and told I would be called after the weekend. Surprise, I was not contacted, but have now been without power for six days. This is exactly why I tried to get an electrician or solar company to work with me and as usual no one even has the work ethic to follow up. My advice, if a company doesn't call back or do what they claim every time you are asking for problems. I don't know where I'll find someone to do solar battery work, but it won't be here. Thanks for putting me in exactly the situation I was trying to avoid.

We are very pleased with our 10 solar panels installed by Solar Energy Solutions. The entire process from initial assessment through the installation was professional and thorough. Our panels were installed in one day in June, 2023. Our July, August and September bills were half of what they usually ran. During October and November we generated more electricity than we used resulting in minimum bills.

Worked with SES through a local promotion for solar panel installation, and I was impressed with them from start to finish. Some solar companies try to pressure you to get as many panels as possible, even when inappropriate. SES didn't do any of that. Both the sales and install teams were great, and we've been happy with our new panels since the install date a month ago.

Excellent service from initial survey to enabling net metering. Our rep kept in touch and was easy to contact. Install started on a Wednesday and had 22 panels up on Friday. Another team including the installer of the Tesla equipment and master electrician ran the cable from the panels to the circuit panels. That part took about four days. At the end we use the Tesla app on our phone to see the power stats.
Overall very satisfied, and it generates what was given to us on the initial estimates.
These guys are top notch. I have no worries about the quality of work and professionalism.

We have been very pleased with our decision to "go solar" and to contract with Solar Energy Solutions for our solar panel and battery installation. None of the employees has seemed to tire of our questions, even now - two months after completion of the installation, and and our naive questions have been patiently answered. We were not rushed into making a decision about the extent of our project, and the entire planning process was methodical, with periodic updates emailed to us.

During the installation, all of the employees were friendly, knowledgeable, careful, and respectful, and they worked well together. In addition, they always cleaned up their workspace before leaving at the end of the day. They were good communicators, keeping us abreast of daily installation plans with early morning phone calls and end of the day briefings. As the crew leader left on the final day of installation, he offered us his cellphone number and encouraged us - being a bit anxious - to call him with any questions or problems. We haven't needed to contact him.

We confess that a former client of Solar Energy Solutions so highly recommended the company that we did not solicit competitive bids for our work, although we did compare prices informally online. That behavior speaks to our desire for a system that works well, with quality overriding a primary focus on price. We're pleased with the warranties offered, although we hope to not need them.

Now, we are learning how to modify our lifestyle to maximize our usage of electricity as it is being generated by the panels or as it's drawn from our powerwalls (batteries), as opposed to sending it to the grid for later use. It pays to be good stewards and to plan ahead for electricity use in our household.

We appreciated Ben Perry and the work he has done for us in evaluating our needs, helping us select the solar system that would work best for us. Ben came out in 2021 to check our site and again in 2022. He was a great person to work with.
