We experienced several lighting strikes this past Monday 3/27/2023 which blew out several water main lines. Even though we were without water all day and part of the evening we are so very thankful to the smiths water crew that was working hard to restore water to our area. We do understand that working while it is still storming is not favorable for the health and welfare of each employee. Just wanted you to know how thankful we are to the Smiths Water Authority and crew.

Got home from work last night came in to take a shower and my water was off, had to call the water company to find out that a water main had burst. Now here it is the next day 24 hours later still no water. I feel like they could have posted something on their page to let families know that there is a outage but there is nothing saying anything about an outage their page say there are no outages which is a lie!!!! I just got off work want to come home shower and relax but I can’t because I have no water!!!

The meter reader noticed a rise in our water usage and reported to us very quickly. We were able to run down a link that day and had it repaired! Then a few days later we received a letter from Smith's Water authority explaining what was found and great suggestions for serving our water use. Thank you for your dedication. Job will done.

We lived in Smiths Station for FOUR YEARS and never missed a payment in that entire time span. We move and are in the middle of preparing to buy a house and a COLLECTIONS AGENCY calls regarding $37 freakin dollars of unpaid debt. THEY SENT $37 TO COLLECTIONS! Not calling us once. Literally, the worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed in my life. This is so embarrassing.

Rude customer service. $100 non refundable fee to move service to a house that already has the water on so basically just to change the name on the bill you have to pay $100. You have to come in because they can't do it over the phone. Literally the only utility anywhere that still does this and charges that much. Unfortunately, they don't care about reviews because where else will you get water from?

Thanks for coming out today and checking 2nd meter (sprinkler system). Did confirm that a faucet on that line wasn't as secure as it needed to be and had a real slow drip. Corrected situation. THANKS for checking.
