The communication is absolutely horrible. Where every other electric company is providing updates about the outages from the storm slash pines is not keeping their customers in the know at all. It would just me nice to have a little bit of communication. I know their is wide spread damage and distruction everywhere. As much as we have to pay for their services you would think they would communicate when the service might be back operational. I guess when you don't have a choice in service you don't have to provide customer service at all.

Slash pine we have children who stay on kinsey Rd who have to return to school tomorrow with no power. Yes their child will be excused if they do not send them. But that child will have to do make up work and miss new assignments that is being introduced. This is stressful on our youth. And creates anxiety on our children. Please send a crew out to help get power on Kinsley rd lake park so these children can have water, and electricity to go to school and get back to the new norm of being a child and enjoy their friends

Thank you to Miss Theresa and the linemen at Slash Pines! They came out within an hour to remove fallen power lines and made it possible for us to leave our driveway safely after four days of being stuck. Thank you thank you.

Horrible all the way around. Especially the office staff. It was fine till the last 4 months. I began getting extremely high bills when I called about it I was told there was a glitch in the system but the reading was accurate lmfao!!! What that doesn't even add up. Anyways I was basically told by the wonderfully rude staff that it was accurate and nothing I could do about it. I was purchasing my home but made the decision just before final decision to not purchase and move elsewhere outside of slay pine zone and yes I specifically ask what electric company before deciding!!!!

This is likely as pointless as actually calling Slash Pine. Understandably, there were quite a few outages after hurricane Idalia. I see more Slash Pine employees parked eating lunch than repairing lines. Most egregiously, they repaired a line on a 4 home road sending power to only two homes. The remaining two homes were occupied by a cancer patient and a pregnant woman with a 2 year old. The lineman charged the line with a line still down laying across a chain length fence. Were EMS needed, there would be no way to get to them. You cannot get anyone on the phone at slash pine for help.

Every single person I've dealt with in this company has treated me with the upmost respect and has went above and beyond to help me get my power set up and turned on.
We used to have FPL service in south Florida, so we welcome this pleasant change.
