We had a problem with our fireplace not starting. Called Shields and made an appointment to get it fixed. Showed up on time even a little early. Ken was really great to work with showed me the part that was not working and replaced it. Very friendly

LOVE my new wood stove. Cindy the sales lady was awesome, friendly and very helpful. We came in the end of September and ordered our stove it was installed a few weeks later. The install crew was polite and tidy. They brought drop cloths to protect flooring while they came in and out to do their thing. We chose the Discovery lll. I have cooked on it multiple times. Yes cooked on it in my cast iron Dutch oven!!! I’ve done a ham and soups. We have been using our stove non stop for about a month now and haven’t once turned our heat on. Yesterday I called Cindy to order the blower for the back. It came TODAY!! It took me 5 minutes to bolt it up to the back and WOW what a difference. I should have put the blower on the back from the get go. It really makes a difference. Now instead of freezing in my 70° house I’m holding strong at about 78° lol.

The office staff promptly handled my warranty claim once I informed them it was covered, despite not having installed the system themselves. You can’t find a better heating or cooling company in our area. They are efficient reasonably priced and reliable. Ken shows up on time and always has a smile. We also had them convert our wood burning fireplace to a gas insert. They deserve 10 stars!

When I called Shields Fireside, Cindy, the owner, was very friendly and wanted to help me get my fireplace up and running as soon as possible. The service technician, Ken, was even a little early for my appointment. He was extremely knowledgeable about the problem and went to work fixing it quickly. He went the extra mile and explained my options to me. He also explained other features I could use that I never knew I had. He was extremely neat and very personable. I would highly recommend Shields Fireside to anyone.

Very happy with their service. Did our A/C and Heating yearly check up. The technician was knowledgeable and explained every aspect to us. I would definitely recommend them and I'll continue to use them in the future.
