I had my phone changed from Verizon to SEPB. Two employees came two different times and each time they were very courteous. I don't know their names.I also spoke with someone named Debbie who was so sweet and helpful. Thank you for your courteous employees. It's rare these days.

Do not use these guys for internet! I had countless issues with my service, after several service calls they never fixed the issue. I work from home and
have to have a reliable, consistant internet connection. They also BOLD FACE lied to me. Told me a contractor would come out and burry my cable, which lay in my yard for months. I Canceled and got Charter, much better!

I’m not sure how the customer representative (Cheyanne (sp)) has retained her customer care position. We have been with SEPB for decades. We CHOOSE to have SEPB internet/cable. I am weary of calling, a couple times a year, and being treated like someone foreign that is asking for directions.
The technicians have always been kind, considerate and so helpful. The technicians have always made us stay with SEPB.

I have had very few positive reactions with getting help. Changing a mailing address cause you’re moving, “go to the website and look up the email yourself” want to cancel Wi-Fi, “We can’t even start it till you get the router to us or we’ll charge 100” it’s just unhelpful if you call they’ll do close to nothing. I understand not being able to do anything but being to lazy to provide info or to unhelpful to make me type this is crazy. Like IM NOT IN THE STATE. Good grief please try to hire people that are eager to hang the phone up. Cause that’ll total help. Thanks

We were FORCED to get Internet service from Scottsboro Electric because the Apartment complex has a contract with them. So we had no choice. Just got it hooked up yesterday and are already having problems!! Keep losing service and all the Electric company will say is that we should have bought our own router!!! WHY are the renting POOR equipment, knowing it does not work!!!

Just had another nothing accomplished conversation with the internet people!! Their IT department would not help, said I could hire a third party if I wanted to to check into my problems and they have done all they can do. Then started asking me what I did on the internet everyday!! What? What does it matter? I am paying for a service I am not happy with , as it keeps going down! You cannot use any other internet service in this apartment complex, so Scottsboro Electric has a monopoly and doesn't have to give good service, they do not care! Whoever manages this place needs to be fired!

Should really give the people a heads up that they will be tinkering with the power lines whose power ends up getting cut off without any warning. I have children and in this day an age everything is electronic. Sucks to have to waste food bc you’re in the middle of cooking something and the power company just shuts off the power. Having to waste food is wasting money on stuff I bought to feed my kids. Now it goes in the trash bc it’s half cook and my children can’t eat it. Kind of disrespectful and just plum annoying. Have more decency please a simple knock on the door would have helped somebody.

My husband and I are happy with our electric service. We had a positive experience when we were in the office getting our service connected. We do not have their internet/cable TV service. Our payments are made electronically, which makes it easy for me. In addition, we receive a monthly paper statement in the mail. The clerks and linemen are polite, friendly and professional. It's all good.

Well I see from the other reviews that Management has no interest in changing how their employees speak to customers. When the person on the phone treats you like you don't matter or just don't care then that's a problem. And no I wasn't calling to have any Sympathy because I could not pay my bill I was calling to let them know I have not received a bill and and to schedule a turn off. I do understand that sometimes the mail system isn't all that great nothing's perfect but to be treated like I was lying about my bill not being mailed to my house is not OK. After reading the reviews I can see that I'm not the only one that has to deal with this kind of Attitude. And amazes me that management does nothing to correct the problem. But I guess they could treat you anyway they want when there's nowhere else to have power for the necessities of life. I know this was kind of a rant and I didn't even touch on the things I should have I just thought I would give an overview.
