I’m not really one for writing reviews as I tend to not put much trust into what I’m reading, but when Ryan and Vaughn asked me to write one at the conclusion of our project (and mentioned referrals were their primary way of gaining clients), I was happy to do so. As my neighborhood became more and more solar converted, I held off based on the feedback of my neighbors who each had experiences in which they could not in good conscience recommend their contractors. Solar was something I wanted to do, but was hesitant since I did not know where to turn. I’m having a hard time putting into words how happy I am that I held off until I was referred to SBS by a friend. They had not come across my radar when I was given their information, which was good, because if they had, it likely would have been from a disappointed neighbor. I am happy to say that my project went off without a hitch, and in the timeframe I was promised. My first appointment left me confident in the potential project, but I still had many questions and Ryan was kind enough to sit down with me again and answer every single one, a meeting that took up at least half of his work day. It was at that point that I was comfortable with my contractor selection, and their numbers were great, so I dove in head first. I’m now the 6th house on my street with solar, but the first that has a nice thing to say about the process. I’m very happy I chose SBS.

I’ve had my solar for over 1year now and my bill-total-for the past 12 months has been $0.54! S.B. Solar was professional, courteous and helpful. They did the work asap once the county got their act together and gave us a permit.
Steve,Ryan, Jeff and his crew were very good and efficient. I am very happy with their work and expertise. With the backup battery we’ve had a couple of outages and it kicks in immediately. It’s great. Great guys to work with!

Steve and Ryan from SB Solar are the best. We've had our system for about 2 years (with battery) and loving every min. of it. I can't say enough about solar. We run our AC unit, lights, charge my electric car, etc. and having to pay zero monthly is heaven. Our system has never failed, runs smoothly and both Steve and Ryan are always there to help. The install, through permits, etc. was smooth and done almost overnight! Give them a try! 100 percent recommend!

Santa Barbara Solar Group installed solar panels and a battery for us in December of 2021. Can't say enough about the solar system installed an supported by Santa Barbara Solar Group. I say "installed and supported by", because beyond the initial introduction pitch about solar, and the many different options out there, once I picked SB Solar, the install was done very professionally, and the group has been monitoring my system to make sure everything is working exactly as promoted. My system has been flawless and has over performed all my expectations.
