They took me in earlier than my scheduled time which was nice of them. Gina was so helpful in the purchase and fitting for a compression sleeve. Gina is a great sales associate who knows her stuff. I could tell that about her right off the bat.

Great customer service and support form the two women who assisted me. They took the time to answer all of my questions. With ease and patience. They did a proper fitting of my compression stockings and also, submitted for my insurance carrier to refund me a portion back.

The billing department needs to be more timely when submitting thier invoice to the insurance comoany. However, overall they rock.

Wheelchair Rental Review

I was leaving for a cruise in 36 hours.

My teenager injured herself. She was on crutches and a boot. If you're a cruiser, those decks are like a slippery slope to danger zone. Well canceling the cruise was out the equation - although the cruise was accommodating with the change.

Where could I get a wheelchair? Swap meet? Craigslist? Family friend? YELP saved the day and Homecare had high reviews for rentals. And they were open on Saturday. I rented a wheelchair from Homecare as a temporary mobility support for an injured teen. Cost was $65 or $95 a week. Maybe I'm inverting numbers.

When I called every question was answered, prices were disclosed without hmmm-ing and haaa-ing. I arrived and literally from entry to completed transaction was 15 minutes. I rented the chair for a month.

The chair was sturdy, easy to push or self-roll on sidewalks, pull on a hill, lightweight, easy to fold, easy to pick up and store in the trunk of a sedan. Remember the chair was used at cruise ports, elevators, on the ship, stadiums, restaurants and a couple of festivals with no challenges. It was also easy to clean and odorless.

This store is well laid out for safety. Wheelchairs and walkers can navigate comfortably.

I want to share our wonderful experience at this store. We needed to get my Mom in right away for a compression sleeve and glove. It is hard to transport her, she is a few weeks shy of her 100th b'day. They made room for us the day I called. Everyone was kind, gentle and professional, especially the tech who worked with us. Amazing service! We drove from downtown San Diego and San Diego Homecare Supplies did not disappoint. We will be using them moving forward for all of our medical needs!
The personal attention was stellar. I needed to be fit for a post surgical bra. They took the time to ensure I found the right fit for me. I didn't feel rushed, I felt they truly cared about what was best for me. I can't say enough about the customer service. Hard to find that kind of caring these days. I highly recommend! 5+++ stars

I went this morning to get measured for compression socks. I forgot what my appointment time was early in the morning and showed up there at 8:30am, although my appointment was at 9:30am, as I learned when I was there. I was still very diligently helped by associate Iris Beal. She has been working there only 8 months as she said when I asked, but she is very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, patient & caring. She took the time, in a one-to-one session, to personally fit me one of the compression socks explaining me the procedure to fit and remove this special socks. She literally helped me all the way from in to out the door. Wow, what a caring personality. Thank you
