This place is a joke. My mother inquired about solar panels with them and got the process going; however, they weren't getting in touch with us, so she decided that she didn't want to go with them. As luck would have it for them, they waited just long enough in "their contract" to where if she decided to back out, she would have to pay half of the contract amount in order to back out of the deal which is a huge scam. That's not all, though. They installed the solar panels and they said that we would just have to pay the monthly fee for the panels and then just like 10 dollars for the electrical bill......That was not the case, she has been paying the regular utility bill about 250 dollars on top of the solar costs! THIS IS RIDICULOUS. We have sat and tried to get them to come fix the problem (which is the battery), yet they keep ignoring us. It has been more than a year since we got the panels installed, and she has been stuck with two bills because this company doesn't want to come fix the problem, yet they keep taking money out. It got to the point where my mother had to dispute the charge so they couldn't keep taking her money because they wouldn't DO THEIR JOB and come fix the problem. So now we are getting "threats" that they'll have to come uninstall the panels if she doesn't get a hold of them. (Which she has been trying). They are in total breach of contract, yet they kept avoiding getting a hold of us, UNTIL, she disputed the charge, then they started calling again. This company is a joke and a scam, only in it for the money, not actually trying to help people out.

We purchased solar for our home with the battery backup. There were several issues getting it installed. Since installation the system has not worked. The finally sent someone to fix it, he said the problem was that the batteries were not wired correctly. After he we here it still doesn’t work properly, batteries trip their breakers as soon as they are charged. Our power usage from the power company has never
changed. We are still paying a full power bill and a solar payment. Rural has stopped returning our calls, emails, and messages on their system. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They keep giving us the run around since August after trying to get them to come and figure out why our solar panels are not providing power and our electric bills were even higher than before we got solar. They won't fix the problem. They won't pay us back for it not working and our power bill skyrocketing. They will not take responsibility for their errors and faulty installation.

This company is a scam. They take your deposit and promise all these savings and say if it doesn’t work out you will get your deposit back. They lie about what your project will cost, disappear for 4+ months, and then try to get you to apply for financing to pay for a project that hasn’t had an approved permit. They claim they were going to make changes so the permit would get approved but they wanted the products purchased first. ABSOLUTELY WORST at communicating! Say you will get all these credits back and you will only be responsible for $30k of a$183k project, but don’t tell that to the creditors you’re trying to get financing through. Will not return your deposit when they finally say they’re done with your project. I got absolutely nothing from them but wasted time and money.

Stay away! I had my panels installed in 2021, many of them don't work. Customer service is atrocious, I have spent the last 3 years trying to reach someone for help with no contact. Until today the website wasn't even working. My app stopped working in 2022, I haven't been able to track usage or anything else since then. Total rip off.

Started out great. Service after installation started bad then got worse. Now, no response. Tried contacting for 4 months after system quit working to no avail. Finally contacted a different company to get my services done.

this company installed a solar system that roughly ran around $35,000 to a home we bought in Clarkston Utah less than a year ago. The system quit functioning and after several calls, we finally got a tech named Clint Who said the system had a malfunctioning part and they would order it it would be here in two days after a week I called and finally got a call back from the office who said that it would be two weeks. That was over a month ago, and we have been totally ghosted by this company. Apparently the tech gave us a fake phone number to call back. The office girl will not return my calls even though they say they will return them in one to two business days and no one is servicing our system and we can’t get anything done on it. I highly recommend that no one go through this company unless they’re willing to come and take care of our situation and at least communicate with us.

Horrible customer service or none existent!! This company is worthy of gepthart!! Can we say SCAM!!! Oh does anybody have a phone number that they answer because we keep trying an straight to voice mail and no response to the voicemails we leave?!!!
