I heard about Erin and her team from a fellow mom in a Facebook group. Desperate for answers and guidance for my son, we made an appointment at root health and will forever be grateful to Erin. Watching your child struggle is so difficult but after our first visit with Erin we could tell she was so knowledgeable. She’s patient and easy to work with. Her office is welcoming and cozy, Allison the office manager is always so helpful and pleasant. I have recommended 3 people to Erin so far and would do it over and over again. Dr. Erin is simply amazing. I have been seeing her and the team for over a year and my gastrointestinal problems were only fixed after that. I saw over 6 doctors prior to coming here, and none of them were able to help me improve my symptoms. Honestly, dr. Erin brought me back to life. I love Erin and her staff. Her practice is cozy and they ensure you are welcomed and treated as a person not as a patient with a diagnosis. You are supported holistically and provided with videos and trainings to inform you of their knowledge. Erin's practice goes above and beyond and are much more current and up to date with the latest research in the field to support people nutritionally. I am inspired by Erin. Her commitment to attend conferences to brush on skills and create workshops to inform her members and the public are very inspiring. I have learned so much with her with my Bartonella and Lyme diagnosis. They make a fantastic duo along with her amazing office manager, Allison and the rest of their staff. Erin is absolutely amazing and has been beyond instrumental in helping to heal my 5 year old son. After he got facial cellulitis following a dental visit he needed to be treated aggressively with multiple iv antibiotics. As a result, he wound up with c diff. Because his symptoms were so severe we took him to CHOP and he was put on more antibiotics to help clear that infection. Adrian’s team of doctors at CHOP did not have any answers as to why the antibiotics did not work the first round but explained it could happen so they put him on another round increasing the dose and duration. Erin had noticed on my social media page that I was putting fresh organic spinach in his smoothies every morning and she reached out to me. She explained that a child with c diff needs to avoid oxalate rich foods as they make the spores increase and multiply. Who would have known?!!! I thought I was doing good feeding him spinach but I was actually fueling a fire. I immediately made an appointment and she started to treat Adrian. She ordered specialized tests, reviewed results, put him on gut protocols, detox protocols, helped us with diet and nutritional changes to help heal and support his body. It has made ALL the difference. Erin is so knowledgeable, passionate, truly loves what she does and cares for her patients and their families. She has been a complete godsend and I don’t know where we would be without her guidance and support. Highly highly recommend Erin and this entire practice!!!!!

LONG POST BUT NECESSARY! READ THROUGH!

We found Root Health Nutrition and Wellness and Erin and her team through a Monmouth County Mom's Facebook post.

Child's quick profile:
-many ear infections and illnesses from daycare
- tubes at 18 months old
-just couldn't stay healthy
-was always a high maintenance baby but our pediatrician just said that was his personality.
-rashes/hives/blotches began on and off depending on level of activity or what brushed up against his skin.

Then entering a formal 4yo Pre K setting, I noticed he although very bright and his bubbily self, he was always antsy, agitated, biting his nails, licking his lips and itching. Being a Special Education teacher and aware of ADHD etc. I assumed, this is just the type of learner/kid he is going to be. Fast forward another year, he went to the dentist with my 3 other children. 3, all clear no problems, him...7 CAVITIES! We obviously eat the same, have the same toothbrushing habits, and that was when the dentist said some bodies don't protect from decay. We had to get to the ROOT of his health/skin now teeth issues.

Fast forward 7 months later, following Erin's protocols, suggestions and nutrition guidance, my now 6 year old has stopped biting his nails, is 100% less agitated by anything that touches him and calm. He has been able to focus without distractions that came from within himself. His skin rashes/hives/yeast markings have gotten so much better, his own Kindergarten teacher reached out that she even noticed a difference from when he would come back from recess/gym/hot weather play. He is a new kid. Confident, calm, focused, less agitated, making eye contact when listening and paying attention to directions.

We did the work at home based on her protocols, but Erin was the one to dig and find the answers. She took her time at our sessions, asked a million questions, offered suggestions even before test results came back. The Healthie system they use is great and we utilize it often and always get a quick response.

In addition, my oldest son used the hyperbaric chamber post surgery and go figure he is recovering ahead of schedule getting him back to sports and his activities faster!

Erin is amazing! My 7 year old daughter has been struggling with chronic constipation since she was an infant. Erin has been so patient and very knowledgeable for me to help my daughter get better.
