I chose Rise because they were local to Lubbock and had the solar knowledge and experience that I was looking for. They did not disappoint, and proved to be both professional and dedicated to ensuring that my solar experience was a successful one. To that end, I have not paid a penny to LP&L for electricity since my solar system was installed! Mission accomplished! Chris and Dylan made sure that my system was "right sized" for my needs, that I paid the lowest cost possible to meet those needs, and that my equipment was installed correctly. The few glitches that I experienced along the way (trust me, there will always be glitches) were addressed and removed as promptly as possible. I felt that the entire organization, from Josh to Chris to Dylan and the installers were all committed to making my project a success. Dylan spent more than one late evening with me ensuring that that happened; and I truly appreciated his efforts, dedication and professionalism throughout. I look forward to continuing to work with Rise Energy, as Lubbock moves from a single provider to a de-regulated one. I know that I can continue to rely on Rise to not only service my system, if the need arises; but help me find the best provider solution for my needs when de-regulation becomes a reality for Lubbock. They did a great job on my home. The panels look clean and my bills are low.We were worried about the ERCOT swap coming, so we got a generator with our solar panels. The whole process went smoothly. Dylan made sure to explain the whole installation process and continued to check in with me after the install to make sure LP&L was billing me correctly.

Signed a contract through Rise for our retail store. Rise signed up the wrong meter and blamed LP&L and took zero responsibility. This mistake has cost us hundreds out of pocket from the difference between our agreed rate and the auto signup that happened with TXU because this company did not verify the meter address properly. I would avoid at all cost as we have made multiple attempts to have this made right, and yet nothing has happened.

Rise Solar was actually the second company I called after having a peaked interest in solar due to rising electric costs. Dylan came over and it was like talking to a friend from college. He was smart and knowledgeable about the business. Any questions I had that he was unsure of, he took back to Chris and Josh for clarification. I never felt pressured to purchase, which differed them from the first company I met with.

Rise was available every step of the way, explaining how the financing would work, and the process for getting hooked up to the City. The process was seamless and the install was quick.

While solar may scare your wallet, I would encourage you to take a look at your past few electric bills and give these guys a call. You may end up ahead in the end.

I first met with Rise Energy at the Lubbock home and garden show. I had already sat down with a competing solar company and was looking for a comparative quote before making a decision.

Chris met with me and explained how the system would work, and a model of what my bills would look like. He also explained to me how the install would go and what I could expect. I liked that they were a local company with a name attached to Lubbock. Their quote was also almost $30,000 less than the competitor. Ultimately the sales process was low-pressure and they even had a backout clause that allowed for me to backout with no cost up to the day before my scheduled install.

The only negative was that the install took longer than expected. I had expected them to be finished in a day or two, but there were complications that required a couple days of troubleshooting. First, they did end up hitting a line when trenching to my well house, but called out SPEC to get it fixed the same day. I wasn’t charged a dime for that, and was only without power for an hour or two. There were also issues with the initial battery backup that had to be reconfigured. Ultimately, the system took a week longer to set up than I expected, but my bills have been amazing. Amidst historic inflation and grossly rising energy costs, I am extremely pleased, if not excited to see the downward trend in my personal costs! Other friends of mine and coworkers have shared SPEC bills with me that are topping 400 dollars/mo right now. It's been blisteringly hot and my bills are a fraction of theirs!

At the end of the day, I couldn’t recommend another company over Rise Energy. They’ve taken care of me every step of the way and have been diligent in following up with me to make sure I’m happy with my investment.

I have looked at solar for several years and in 2021 finally pulled the trigger. Rise was our chosen company. I found them very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The did not just throw out a bunch of technical jargon in an effort to impress me. They sat there for as long as I needed to understand it all. Christopher and Dylan have both been great to work with.
Our installation was completed in April of 2022. There were a few hiccups involving LP&L which was no fault of Rise.
We did panels only, no battery or generator, just a 10kw system. The summer of 2022 was as hot if not hotter then any. For the months of July, August, September, and October our total electricity used power bill was a whooping $1.84!
I keep our 2900 sq. ft. home very comfortable day and night, usually around 68 degrees if not cooler.
I am so impressed with our solar system and Rise Energy that I would without hesitation recommend them for anyone needing a power soulution.
They were efficient in the install process, did exactly what they said they would do, and they are Local Lubbock guys.
Do yourself a favor, call Rise Energy and just let them take care of it.
Now more then ever it just makes sense to own your own power plant.
