REA educated us about solar systems and the process, kept us informed, guided us through the process, and quickly and easily handled the inevitable hiccups as they promised they would. Our system was designed, installed, and operational more quickly than they estimated, the hassle was minimal, and we are very very very happy with REA and the solar system we now have. Was so excited to get my solar panels and there was a bump in the road but due to the diligence and perseverance of Kevin Owens and Brandon Smith my solar panels and electrical work was done in 4 hours today. I am beyond happy. Just waiting for Electric company to come and put in my reverse meter and give the final stamp of approval to flip the switch. When we first started looking at solar we got bids from about 6 companies and they really ran the gambit in terms of pricing and experience. A few pushy salesmen, some people who never followed up or answered questions, and a few nice folks. Price was important to us but not more so than feeling like we could trust a company. After deliberating we decided to move forward with REA because their reps Skyler and Brandon were both very respectful, responsive, and clearly experts when it came to any of our questions. Their installer Freedom had a long history so we felt our warranties were safest with a bigger installer. Plus the pricing was more competitive than what we saw out of Ion, Blue Raven, and Klick.

Once we signed docs the process working with Freedom Forever for install was easy enough. Both Brandon and the folks at Freedom kept us updated on the various steps we had to move through, sometimes being redundant in communication but I'd rather have that than too little communication. We decided to up our system size after they had already submitted to permitting and Brandon had new docs to us in two days flat which was nice considering Freedom then had to update submissions with arapahoe county.

On install day the crew was very professional, even introducing themselves and taping off the driveway so they had clear space to work. It took maybe 5 hours to put up our 18 panels, and then they left everything in great shape. After 4 guys climbing all over my roof, drilling and wiring and whatever else I only found 1 zip tie in my driveway left behind. I'd heard from some friends that I should expect lots of trash and noise and swearing but that's not what I had, so I was very pleased with Jay and his crew.

Finally xcel came and gave us clearance to turn on, and since then no issues that I'm aware of. I probably am a little obsessed but I check the monitoring app every day and the production numbers align with what we were told during the sales process. We took about 3 months to get to install and then 5 weeks to turn on which is a tiny bit faster than what Skyler had told us for timelines. Overall I'd say I'm very happy with my experience, and if anyone reading this is on the fence they should use REA! You won't regret it!
