Just had our solar system completed by ReNew Solar Solutions. Let me share our experience. We shopped a lot before choosing ReNew, even had their contract reviewed by a competitor who said it was excellent! The company uses top line components at a fair price and the install, according to the electric company's inspector, was "the best I have seen."

Colby, the V.P. of Design and Engineering, explained every project step and what to expect. David, Ryan, Zack, and Patrick all responded to our questions, were courteous, professional, and outstanding at their work. Ex. The conduit required a lengthy uphill trench which they finished off by inserting erosion stops, soil fill, topped off with seed, and straw, and even watered!

Once connected, the system worked flawlessly! (A few days after the install I noticed a flicker in one of our lights. Didn't think much of it. Discovered our community grid was down and later restored. The transition from grid-loss to solar power was almost unnoticeable and in seconds.)

The trickiest part for us was getting the paperwork completed with our various energy providers. ReNew helped us through the entire process. Krista, the co-owner contacted the various parties and made the transition smooth.

Best part was, rarely did we have to wait to reach a live person. Ann usually answered calls on the 1st or 2nd ring and was able to get me to the right person. At times, if calling people who were working in the field on different projects, it may take until the end of the day for a callback.

Solar can be a big ticket item, but there are substantial tax and energy savings offsets and ReNew had experts explain them all in detail.

As I said, I do a lot of research before diving into a project like this. ReNew is a solid company, mover in the solar field, and they care about customers after the sale. ReNew is growing, promoting people from within, and expanding into more residential and commercial areas with leading edge tech, all at a very fair price.

IMO, for many reasons solar has become an important home energy source. Not only is it clean, but our grid is stressed and getting more so. I highly recommend using ReNew Solar Solutions to prepare.

I looked at several bids and selected ReNew Solar. ReNew was competitive in price, but i liked the higher quality products. Installation took 4 days. Hayden and his team performed the install and were on time and communicated what was going on well. Recommended if you are in TN

ReNew Solar Solutions was contracted by GM for the install and I could not be happier with the service they provided. My installer John has been very easy to work with being extremely flexible and accomidating with my busy traveling work schedule. The install was very professionally done. Ryan is definitely a life saver! I was getting ready for a deployment and we lost all power.. Ryan constantly stayed in contact with me and stayed on the phone with me helping me troubleshoot the problem from over 250 miles away because we had no local support.. while deployed he drove to my residence and fixed the problem! I HIGHLY Recommend Ryan and from now on he will be my go to guy for my solar solutions.. I just wished he lived closer ?

We started thinking about solar several years ago, finally deciding to get serious this past summer. We initially contacted Powerhome due to online and media advertisements. Let's just say, they're not ready for primetime. We learned about Renew through our utility company, so I gave them a call and asked a few questions. John, the owner, said it would probably be best if they came out and surveyed our property for the best installation solution. He brought an engineer, which really impressed me as he was able to answer several questions on the spot about installation and logistics surrounding the utility run we needed to make. I followed up a few days later with a list of technical questions as I was attempting to make an apples-to-apples comparison with another solar provider. Renew answered promptly and completely. One of the things that impressed me was their recommendation to use bi-facial panels on our barn's metal roof. These panels provide an up to 25% boost in generating potential by capturing reflected solar energy that passes through the panel and bounces off whatever is behind the panel. A higher reflective background equals greater production potential, so my barn's metal roof was perfect for these panels. Their pricing was highly competitive and the warranty and after sale support looked excellent. The crew came out and did an excellent job with the install. We're up and running making our own power.

My aim behind getting a solar installation on the roof of our house was less about saving money on our power bill, and more about doing my part to reduce my reliance on fossil fuels and other energy sources. To that end, I have loved all the interactions I've had with ReNew Solar Solutions. Before installation began, I worked with a couple people who designed a system to fit my roof, and meet my specific needs. They presented their project in clear terms, and after some back and forth on purchasing options, we figured out how to make it all agreeable. The installers showed up with enthusiasm, and they were fun to talk to. They answered my questions along the way, and they were obviously very experienced. Their conduit and other work was gorgeous (one guy was out there with a bubble-level making sure everything would look perfect!) and the finished product is fantastic! In spite of some snow-cover for a week or so, our system is working terrifically, meeting the needs we had hoped for, and I'm excited for what will surely be a summer of me enjoying my air conditioner with less cares about the cost of running it all! The battery backup has saved us a few times, so I could work from home seamlessly even when, in the past, i would have lost my internet connection.
Terrific craftsmanship, excellent product, outstanding communication, and all around a wonderful job by everyone involved! Highly recommended!

Never once felt pushed. I’ve asked numerous questions regarding options, sizes, installation methods. Every time I get a honest answer. I like that they recommend the newest and the best. But would be willing to adjust if I wanted an older / lower price point. Still on the fence due to pricing.
