We want to take this opportunity to thank Justin, Ivan, their roofing employees, and the solar installation employees of BVI Solar, whom Justin worked with, for all they have done for us with the reroof and the installation of our 30-panel solar system with a partial battery backup for our home. Justin and Ivan’s professionalism, especially during the reroofing of our house, was outstanding! They always kept us informed, especially when they encountered the one bad area of dry rot over our master bedroom, where the builder of our home did a less-than-desirable roofing job. Considering this was our first home purchase while we were both still on active duty in the Marine Corps and the Navy and had never hired a roofing and solar contractor, Justin and Ivan made the whole process painless. I recently had solar panels installed by RC Energy Solutions, a fantastic local company, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Despite being a small business, they took on a job that Tesla and several other large installers had turned down. One of the biggest highlights was their ability to lock me in with SDGE for the NEM 2 program literally a day before the deadline. This kind of dedication and promptness is hard to find. While their price was slightly higher than Tesla's, they offered a superior system with individual per panel inverters instead of a single inverter, which is a notable advantage in the long run.

The installation team was just as top-notch. They completed the entire setup in a single day with exceptional care and precision. Additionally, they honored my request to maximize the tilt of the system, which required a follow-up visit after the initial installation. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of their service.
