Incredible job from start to finish. The entire team was professional, punctual, and experienced. The install looks really clean and was done quickly. The job site was left cleaner than when they started.

Would absolutely recommend Ralos to anybody interested in going solar!

I'm a contractor who performed work for a client of RALOS. The project was completed in mid September of 2023. It is now late March of 2024, and I have yet to be paid the remaining balance for the work I did. At first, the owner, Daniel, was great to work with, gave me a deposit to cover materials, etc... when it came time for paying the remaining balance, it was radio silence for over a month. No response to calls, emails, texts, etc... I eventually received a partial payment and an excuse as to why it took so long, followed by assurance that I would be paid the remainder soon. That was months ago. Between reviews on here as well as posts I've seen on other sites, I'd avoid this company as a contractor unless you don't want to get paid, and as a customer unless you want a lien placed on your home after they stiff whoever does the work on it.

great company to work with until the end of the project. my project as large in the 6 figure range. new solar-new roof-new insulation, the whole package. it is nice not having a monthly electric bill however instead I have a lien on my house and a 22 thousand dollar bill because they refused to pay the subcontractor that did the insulation. they paid the roofing contractor since that is their preferred contractor but they did not have a company for spray foam insulation. I found one and they set them up and the project was good to go. only for them to spend all the money from the financing company once they received it instead of paying the contractor. been over 6 months and now I have to pay the balance because they have refused any and all contact from myself or the subcontractor.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

My heart is so sad to leave this review. We just moved to Idaho at the end of May and the sales rep came and sold us on solar. We loved the idea of going with a family owned company and the reviews for Ralos were great. Everything was great until we signed the contract and Ralos got paid and then our sales rep stopped returning texts, emails, or calls. We ended up with an HOA fee because the sales rep did not get approval like he said he did. He pretty much ghosted us. We finally got a hold of someone at Ralos and were refunded. Part of our solar deal was going with their private credit union partner for our loan instead of the government funded loan with the incentive that Ralos would pay the solar loan payments for the first year. I have had to literally hound the company to get reimbursed and now after 3 months Ralos has completely ghosted us. We haven’t been reimbursed for December and since Dec 28th we have sent 5 emails, multiple texts to our one contact at the company, Facebook comment and messages, Google message and voicemails. No one has responded at all. I am flabbergasted by this treatment especially since the reviews just 4 months ago were so great. We are now out a huge monthly payment we were promised reimbursement for and are now super worried that our warranty won’t be upheld because we can’t even get in contact with anybody in the company. My advice is to go with a different company because this is just devastating to us financially. Lesson learned the hard way.

We have had the worst experience with Ralos, and that's putting it lightly. In February 2023, we entered into a contract with Ralos for solar installation and a window package (5 windows and 1 door). In April, the Solar was installed with no issue and we were just waiting on our windows to arrive at the shop.

After repeatedly being told there were delays, we discovered in August that the order had never even been placed and we had to start from scratch. This was discovered after multiple failed attempts of communication from our sales rep and being told multiple times that they had checked on the order and that they would arrive in 'X' weeks (how would they even have a timeline if the order hadn't even been placed).

We were then connected with the owner, Daniel Harder. We started the process over in August and had to get new measurements. We were told a 6 week timeline by Daniel, which would have set us at October ish. In the meantime, they were supposed to get all permits pulled so that we would be ready to move as soon as the windows arrived. According to the city website, the permit process was not even started until November, the day after I threatened to call our financing company to file a complaint.

The permit has now been sent back to Ralos for changes and has had no movement since November. And now, Daniel and his team will not even answer my calls. We've sent multiple emails/texts/calls and laid out many options with how we could move forward. At this point, we've given up hope of ever getting our windows, which we have been paying for since June. We're reporting to them to our financing company, the BBB and and every other resource possible.

I'm sharing this experience to hopefully save others from entering into a contract with Daniel Harder or his company, Ralos.

Things seemed really promising with this company, then they ghosted me completely, similar to other recent reviews here.

In July of 2023, one of their door-to-door sales people knocked on my door to ask about my existing solar system. I have an Enphase system installed by Auric Solar in 2018, but I have a couple issues with the system that need repaired (one panel not responding, then the Envoy controller itself died). Auric has since gone out of business, so I can't get them to repair it. I explained the problem to the salesman, Kaden, who told me that they do work on Enphase systems. At the time, they had really positive reviews here, so I decided to have them fix my system. I reached out to Kaden, and he put me in touch with Sam to get the repair done.

Sam came to the house, took pictures of the setup, asked for screenshots from the app and documentation that I had from the installation. I sent him all the specs for the panels and things seemed to be going well. He said that I might even be able to get some of the repairs covered through Enphase's warranty, and asked me to transfer monitoring of my Enphase account to Ralos.

In August I received an email from the operations manager, Craig, saying he needed me to follow a link to transfer my Enphase account to them, but there was no link in the email. I replied back, asking for the link, and he didn't respond. I replied again a week later, and he finally sent the link. I transferred the account to them as requested, and didn't hear anything back for over a month. I emailed Craig again in early September, but he never responded.

At the end of September, I reached out to Sam again, explaining that I had not had any updates from Craig. Sam said he would follow up with him. Several more weeks went by with no response, so I sent a message to Sam again, but this time he just didn't respond.

So now, 9 months later, my solar system is still just as broken as when I tried to get Ralos to repair it. I checked the reviews here and saw similar stories to what I experienced, so I figured I would share my tale before I continue searching for another company to do this work.

These guys are amazing. We looked at 4 other companies, and RALOS was the only company to answer all our questions, and give us honest answers. They were $3,300 less than the next closest bid, and they were the only ones to offer us a labor warranty for 25 years. They really seem to be the only fair solar company out here.

Just had my panels installed today. Guys showed up when they said they would and finished right about when they said they would. They picked things up and left the area basically as it was before except for the new panels being in place. They called shortly after to schedule the city inspection for me. Great guys to talk to and they answered any and all of my questions. Prior to the installation, things had gone very smoothly with the initial sale, panel layout, and working on the financing. Will definitely recommend these guys if I hear folks asking about solar panel installation.
