I’ve been getting my hair done by Kayla Irvin for quite some time, and I think she is just the BEST. She takes her time, explains all of the process, and always makes me feel comfortable. I naturally have very dark thick hair that does not process quickly, and I like to stay fairly bright blonde, which has lead to damage in the past. Since Kayla has been taking care of me, my hair has stayed healthy and growing!! The salon is very cute and clean, and the other stylists and receptionist were so sweet and great to talk to. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I recently moved to the area from out of state; looking for a new stylist can be stressful. Today was my first appointment with Pure Mettle, booked by Emily, who was incredibly helpful. Out of the many years and different salons I have been cut and colored in, this is probably my favorite place. The ladies (Shae, Jaime, and Kayla) who I met today are LOVELY. Being in the salon felt like I was hanging out with my own girlfriends. It was so welcoming; I felt extremely comfortable there. I had the pleasure of working with Shae, who listened to my ideas and shared with me some of her own. She is very knowledgeable about her craft and explained to me in steps what her plan was. I put my trust in her to come up with something, and she went above and beyond. The color is beautiful; it blends so well throughout my hair, looking very natural. I would recommend this salon over and over again. I will definitely be going back.

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Baylee. I came in with level 1 professionally died black hair and she patiently (and amazingly!!!) took me to a level 5 copper in one sitting. She paid such attention to detail and wanted to make it look as perfect as she could. I have had such bad experiences at other salons but I had no doubts with Baylee. Will be a forever client! I absolutely love my new hair and am grateful she took on this challenge.

miranda is absolutely the best!! i trust no one else but her with my hair. she knows exactly what she’s doing and knows what’s best for my hair type. she makes sure you both visualize what you’re wanting and does better than the pictures i show her! please run to her!!

I blindly booked a special hairstyle appointment with Summer after finding Pure Mettle via a google search. I was eloping an hour north, and needed to be in Cummings for flower pick up, so I figured I’d treat myself and get my hair done. I’m SO glad I did. Not only was my hair STUNNING, but the hospitality and genuineness of Summer and the staff was such amazing. I also saw multiple clients leaving with freshly touched up color and they were all so happy with the service they received. If you’re looking for a new salon, or you’re an out of town-er like me needing your hair done, I’d highly suggest Pure Mettle. 10/10 experience.

I was desperate to find a good hair salon and stylist that I didn't have to drive out of the way for. I found a Pure Mettle by chance after a hair appointment I booked while out of town on vacation didn't pan out. Turned out seeing Summer at Pure Mettle was meant to be.

I hadn't cut my hair (other than minor trims) in 2 years and was ready to commit to a style. I spent countless hours pouring through Pinterest to find what I wanted and was excited (and nervous) to see if a stylist could bring it to life for me (nothing crazy, but didn't want a mediocre experience). Summer listened to my concerns, reviewed my pics, gave me some suggestions - then proceeded to knock it out of the park. I left feeling like a new woman and will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this Salon! The salon itself is gorgeous, and the stylists are all amazing. I've been going to Baylee for a while now- and she is literally the best! I've never had nicer hair or more compliments! She takes the time to understand what I want and I love her honesty, and I feel like she truly cares about her clients. I've never felt rushed out and she has always takes the time needed to make sure everything comes out perfect.

It has taken me so long to find a place that is a good fit for me. I've tried some of the priciest salons in Atlanta and still didn't come out with the results I wanted. Summer at Pure Mettle changed that! She is a blonde specialist. She really knows how to listen to what her clients want and I come out looking like million bucks. Highly recommend!
