Called on the phone on Wednesday to have them look at my generator in my motor home. I was told to come in at 1:00 on Thursday (later told this wasn’t an appointment?). After about 2 hours I was told by a young man that the tech said the carburetor was bad. He is just a messenger, not the tech. He said they could have the carburetor installed by 3:30 but they wanted to keep it to check out any additional problems there might be. I told them I was leaving Saturday and everything had to be done before then. They assured me it would be finished. I said to do it and left it with them overnight. I called Friday morning about 10 am. The lady that answered said she didn’t have the estimate and would call me back. She called me over an hour later. She told me the carburetor would cost over $500 plus 1-1/2 hours labor. Adding the diagnostic fee the bill would be over $1,100. They would have to do further diagnostics after that to make sure the electrical would work. They couldn’t do the work then because a customer with an appointment was first. I thought I had an appointment the day before but was told they just worked me in. There was no way I would have a working generator in time. I even asked if I could buy one of the refurbished units and have it installed. They didn’t have time to do that either. Bottom line is I told them it had a fuel leak by the carburetor when I brought it in and their diagnostic was that there was a fuel leak. They did nothing and that cost me $258. I don’t recommend using them.

So I’ve been going to this place for years and they change some things around and I was very disappointed at first because I loved going to Highland and Rental and the people have become more like family to me than just business clients! But then they kept most of the same people, and got some new people And went into a different line of work, but still continue to maintain and work on landscaping equipment, which made me very happy because Rick has been a true blessing as he learned from the best and he is becoming the best at what he does! Smart, friendly, And very interested in getting equipment out on time! And sometimes before you expect it! First class service for a third class man 🙂 that is what I like, thank you so much power generation service, and the new crew also very on top of things!

Jeannette, Smitty, Chef and the whole crew were absolutely amazing! Got my 70+ yr. old mother and I back on the road super fast! If you have ANY generator issues while in Albuquerque, DON'T go anywhere else!

My RV generator in my coach quit working and they were able to get me in in the morning and I was on the road by lunch time. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and Smitty gave me a run down on how to keep my generator going smoothly and some peace of mind before the summer. I've been to there west side location, but the new one is so much closer to my home. Great service.

I brought in a small generator for a repair estimate.I was told the charge was to be $125 for a diagnosis.They said that would callso I could decide if the generator was worth repairing.They did not call. When I called they informed me that they could not find out what was wrong with the generator.When I inquired about the bill I was told about extra charges that were never discussed when I dropped off the generator.The total charge was over $200.00 including a charge for using a credit card.I wil not be going back to them.

That's a freaking racket if I ever seen one $200 just to look at your damn generator. Ridiculous
