I drove over to his facility and it was a pleasant conversation and I opted to leave my motor with him, when I asked for a receipt I was given a paper pad to right my name and phone number. I gave the information and was hoping to receive a call soon after the repair. I kind of had an idea the cause of the problem and let him know it could be possible capacitor in my past experience that is what goes bad. I received a call stating that it was the capacitor and it repaired for pickup, repair cost was fair. what disappointed me was when I was installing my motor back I had to open the back and noticed that the replacement part was old and had rust stains on it. Although it was working he had placed an old capacitor from his junk yard instead of a new Capacitor. Although I am happy that I got my motor back quickly, I would have appreciated if I was warned that he was putting in old part during his repair. After all that is what generally goes out on these motors.
